Jade Plants prefer outdoor, it require a minimum of 4 hours of direct sunlight. so if jade plants have been grown indoor, it should have to be grown near a window to receive some light to thrive.
A friend gave me a large jade cutting 20 inches talk with a big trunk measuring 1.5 inches in diameter. I first put it in water for a few weeks but nothing happened and noticed the leaves are started to wrinkle. I then took it out of the water and let it dry out, still, nothing happened. Someone told me to put it back in the water which I did, the leaves are getting thinner and it doesn't look good, I don't want it to die. What can I do, please help.
Hi Sherri, I recommend you put It in the soil with the pot that have drainage hole, give it water after you plant it. Put it in shade area where It can get morning sun light, and wait untill the top 2 inches of the soil dry out between watering. It will start to show root after 2 or 3 weeks. Hope these help!
Use sharp, clean scissors to cut the branch between the nodes (the lines around the trunk). Remove the leaves from the bottom 2”, enough for the cutting to stand upright in soil. Then follow the steps in the video.
Elinize saylık komşum sevgiler hayırlı akşamlar dillerim 👍👌
Always love Jade plants , parts of my favourite one .
love this! Very clear on everything, but one question. Why the shade for 2 months after planting the initial cuttings?
Because they are weak, you should put them on shade until they develop roots. That is my opinion.
For those two months do we have to havee water ?
Great video! Thank you.
Should I prune it at the same time or it will be too much stress on the plant?
Your respond would be very helpful!
It would be too much stress on the plants, after you plant them you should wait a couple months before pruning.
Goid video my new friend.👍😊
Thank you!

Very good resultated friend
Thank you!
how often did you water the jade cuttings?
Hi Mansi!
I water them once a week. But make sure don't over water them, so let the top 1 or 2 inches of soil dry out between waterings.
