Beautiful! Surprised to see that you put the cranks on first before the chainrings. Planning to build a bike (Colnago Super) soon with Campy Super Record 6 speed.
Finally a build video with no goddam party music blasting in the background while the owner of the bike is rambling. Anyways beautiful bike!. btw one thing i noticed with these old bikes is the thickness of the brake-pads. My late 90's shimano groupset only takes the modern road-bike kind where they look like they'll only last a season, not sure if this was done to sell more brake-pads or if there was a reason behind making them thinner.
These vintage builds are truly awesome as is that bike. Last year I had a custom titanium frame builder make me a road frame and I built it up using titanium bars, stem, and seatpost with other bits being metal. I wanted to stay away from carbon as much as possible with this build. I just got my hands on a Campagnolo crankset like the one on your bike there and I ordered the same type of bottom bracket. Watching your video I'm excited to get this all put together. Thanks for posting the video.
Hi, really nice content and video. 👍 I’m Build up also a Italien bike (somec) with a campa set up. I‘m searching for a left arm of a crankset. Do you have one on your Stock? Maybe?🙂 Or a other crankset?
Classic Italian bikes and Campagnolo are the best.
Campagnolo the best

Awesome work on the bike! I have an old Raleigh Grand Prix myself that also needs restoration.
These old bikes are superior to the garbage that they are producing today. Hang on to your raleigh its an original and a collectors item. !
Niiiiiiiice....

This is really similar to my bike 😃
magnifique
Wonderfull video, you worked with ease and precision! I just don't like the choice of Bartape, I think Benotto would have fitted better.
This is a lovely video, thank you. You miss out putting the chain on, I would have liked to have seen this.
Which bike lock is better for this vintage beauty
where did you find your 15 mm box with the handle would be very glad to know thx
Super. If you're can talk please explain what and why you do.

not professional at all he is a beginner and should fit the right-hand crank first and check for play before tightening the lock ring.
No one said he was f#ck off
