Very basics of bishop exchange opening. Pretty long video for being only about the first 16 moves or so... You'll learn 3 strategies here. 1. Climbing Silver 2. Rapid Advancing Silver 3. Reclining Silver
Yeah, very good question. That bishop drop is reasonable. If white does that, black should just block it in any way, or move the rook to 1h. Black won't be able to easily make the silver trade on the 2nd file anymore, but white has lost his bishop from his hand while black still do, and that's a downside for white. So, it's another equal game. Maybe black can try to start harassing the bishop.
Thank you for the great lessons.
I also study this opening and yes it is a difficult one to learn.

first to view,,, ^_^ finally got bishop exchange ,
great video =D
Beautiful
I am studying this shogi opening
I guess B*3g isn't very good because the knight will be attacked by P*3f.
Would B*3g, Bx3g+, Nx3g work? If White tries to attack the Knight with another bishop drop, Gold can defend?
donde puedo descargar el juego mucha gracias
In Rapid Advancing Silver, if Silver leaves to attack, wouldn't a Bishop drop at 5e occur, skewering Lance and Rook?
Shikamaru?
