A Musician’s life is a constant search to realise the Music Within -
The song which came to my mind when I wanted to portray this truthful thought was ‘Ae Ajnabi’ composed by the legend A.R. Rahman. Here the ‘Ajnabi’ or the Unknown is the Music within, which a Musician tries to realise throughout his life. And when I thought of the production concept, the genre which was so close to the thought was ’Sufi’ - which symbolises the Human's seek for the Divine
For this project so I am happy to have collaborated with the amazing Sufi singer Zia Ul Haq, who has blessed this Musical with his Sufi thoughts and divine rendering. Like all my other productions, this song became so soulful because of the thought and craft of my dearest Musician Ramu Raj who has produced and arranged the track. The gorgeous singer Samanwitha Prasanth has beautifully sung few verses and performed as the 'Ajnabi' or the ‘Music Within’. The legendary Harmonium player Sri Hamza Harsh has blessed this track with his magical fingers. Above all the thought was so beautifully portrayed on canvas by the Artiste behind the Camera, Amosh Puthiyattil.
