Prime flood (not full potential) had the ability to entirely manipulate time and space. I've seen people saying that the element infected a planet that's a big feat but the flood has consumed entire galaxies. The flood also outsmarts and would, instead of infecting or trying to infect element, would instead eradicate it with the flood's superior intelligence (building weapons, outsmarting etc)
