After all these years Roger's voice still sounds amazing at the tender age of 72, absolute legend!! 😀 😀 Fun fact, this is one of the Queen songs Roger actually wrote for the 1984 album The Works!! 😀 😀
The version recorded in Rio with a couple hundred thousand "back up" singers was always one of my favorites. Roger Taylor has always been such a fantastic drummer, so melodic.
I’m also going to be there at this Friday’s concert! My first concert after the lockdown!!! We are going to the Queen pop up shop first to splash out on some goodies! To say I’m excited is an understatement!!!🤩🤩🤩 Really hoping that Roger’s slightly older brother will join in for a song or two!🥁🎸👑⚡️
If the artist were not visible and Roger Nobody/ Everybody was called what would the reaction be ? That is exactly what happened to my husbands and his reaction was devastating.
Everyone is just happy to be there with Roger. Roger wrote the song and we love him for his musical talent. He could be just tired at the end of the show, anyway there’re much worse examples of songwriters singing their classics.
@@HundXanthippe There’s nothing greater for any artist than opportunity to tour with his new album in front of his excited fans. Roger is an older rocker and we take it into consideration before buying tickets. His music is still timeless, he’s LEGENDARY! Your example of an unknown singer performing Roger’s song is ridiculous.
He was a little bit off key in the beginning...maybe he couldn't hear the band? I love the audience reaction! Can't wait to see Queen and Adam next summer!
It's not live aid standards but who was expecting it to be, I'm just glad Rogers out there still rocking it, it's far from terrible, looking forward to this gig next week in Liverpool
I was there. Awesome gig.
Roger Taylor s solo albums and with.his other band (apart from Queen), are a must for all Queen fans.

Saw him in Cardiff on Wed…amazing!!
Rog sounds very good. I wish I'd been there.
I wish I was there!!!
His voice is still amazing and beautiful, and this song is still one of the best of the 80's decade. Obviously love it
I'm going to the London show on 22nd!So excited
Me too!🥁⚡️

I love Roger’s singing and songwriting. Saw him live back in the 90’s. Legend.
Wonderful job Roger!! Big fan forever! Thanks for sharing this !😊

Who's Roger's brother? LOL

He still sounds great

Hello, TheaterPup! Remember you. If nothing odd happens, I m going for the last four shows. I hope you have stayed well thru this long 19 months!
@@anneharris606 Hi Anne! Wow, you are so lucky! :D Yep, things are slowly getting better. Hope you're doing well too.
@@theaterpup3466 I m ok...glad you are! Remember when we thought we might see Queen in June 2020? At least we re all alive, and still rocking!

@@theaterpup3466 We do. Although I must admit it has certainly been trying! Certainly strange days indeed! Or a Strange Frontier, if you prefer!
Roger sounds great. The drums sound really small, not big as you would expect from Roger.
Roger tours theatres, he doesn’t need bigger sound.
@@lararoostalu9318, I disagree on this one but appreciate your view also.
@@DW-qn7yw I think it’s just practical for smaller stages. Maybe we can ask Roger?
@@DW-qn7yw Also, this recording is not professional…the sound might be different live?!
Queen performed there in Newcastle 3rd and 4th December in 1979

Mr Taylor sounds great , something not right with the drums beat /sound seems weird
Slapback from the venue unfortunately

I’m sure Roger as the professional drummer can tell but what do you do as a performer! Keep going “the show must go on”
