Collins scored a penalty in France in 1998, but it was in the opener vs Brazil. We never played France at that World Cup.

Got to be the 1967 kit worn by Denis Law and Jim Baxter showing the World Cup holders how to play, and it was at Wembley, not Hampden.
The 1990s ones reminded me doing gym in school. All featured at one point
There was no third kit in 1990, that was a leisure shirt (hence why it was never worn in a match).
Was about to say this, had it when I was a wee guy. There was a diff colour of it as well.

The France 98 home kit is the gold standard. Badge placement, tartan, colour, just perfect.
The 86 away is nothing without the shorts
The Battenburg one was a 1990 3rd, I Believe it was sold as a leisure top of which there were two variants..

1967 England v Scotland was played at Wembley, how can you get that wrong??
Great to see some of these tops again. This video would have been better either with a player who saw more of them in action or with some of the more expressive members of the squad eg Robbo or McGinn

It's a toss up between 67 and 78 for me. 78 has to be the long sleeved shirt though. Both those kits epitomise Scotland home shirts. Keep it simple, Navy with White trim, that's all you need.
I would love to see Scotland return to having a Red away kit with the Navy shorts and White socks, the ones we had in 1980(my first Scotland strip) and 82 were class. I'm not keen on us having Yellow kits.
yellow was a massive change in 85 eh, as a kid I was all for it but looking back, red away was superb esp with eh blue shorts and white socks

Those mid 90s strips were terrible then the 2000s strips were bad swell. Still think the 85-88 home shirt is the best and the 82-85 red away strip is the best away kit ( blue shorts white socks )
