OKUAMA: Nigerian Army Releases Detained Ewu Traditional Ruler

The Nigerian Army authorities released Prince Clement Ikolo Ogenerukevwe on Friday. He was the monarch declared wanted in connection with the killing of 17 military personnel in Okuama, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State. Major-General Onyema Nwachukwu, spokesperson for the Nigerian Army, stated that while the army hasn't absolved anyone in the incident, they opted to release the monarch following interventions by prominent figures in society and a thorough review process.
