- Brit metallers Svalbard hit The K! Pit in association with Nordic Spirit at Blondies, our favourite East London dive bar.
It was their first show since February and it was filmed without an audience in attendance and with governmental guidelines observed.

On January 20th 1971 I saw Black Sabbath live for the first time. Now, over 50 years later, Svalbard fill me with that same sense of awe, pure energy and happiness I felt all those years ago. Hope to see you down the Fleece in 2021, meanwhile Thank You so much for this !

Great band! I saw them a few days ago at Mystic Festiwal in Gdansk, Poland. It was an amazing experience to me. Probably the biggest surprise for me that day.

I absolutely fell in love with it! I love the atmospherics and the passion behind the lyrics and vocals. It's like someone took Alcest, La Dispute, Sharptooth, and a little bit of At The Gates, and chucked them into a blender.

@@JoshFryer Svalbard. I think Noctule is probably going to be strictly Serena's pet project. From what I gather from interviews, anyway. I think Noctule is doing something different with black metal, which is refreshing. The album is based on the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The songs are basically a commentary on the various dungeons and certain characters you encounter in the game. Burzum (say what you will about Varg Vikernes, but he is a shitty human being who happens to be a musical genius) took inspiration from Tolkien and LARP games, so why not take inspiration from a very norse inspired video game?
