When we went the prices were fair. They are currently charging way too much for us to make a return trip. Go the the Dominican Republic to the best band for the buck.

@@markusaurelius7227 Yes, we visited in August and have already made new reservations to go back. I believe that the early reviews were not the best because the resort had just opened. However, in August, whatever issues/kinks that they may have had were worked out by the time we were there. There were no apparent issues that we noticed at all. If you are looking for a relaxing place to go, I would highly recommend You can’t go wrong. The one thing that I am looking forward too is the new Gypsy Club. If you decide to go, let me know how you like it.

Excellent video!! You guys should check out another adults only all inclusive resort called Hotel Xcaret Arte. Its located approximately 30 mins south the Secrets Resort you reviewed! Its even more amazing than this Secrets resort!! IMO!! 👍🏿

Hello Bryan. It really depends on what kind of vacation person you are. If you plan on being in your room most of the time instead out and about in the pools, restaurants, or shows, then I would upgrade to a higher-tier room. A regular room will suffice if you plan on being out and about. You should definitely go, it's worth it.

Hello Marty. We have never been to Karisma. I don't think you would be disappointed if you went to Secrets Moxche. I would definitely book the trip to Secrets Moxche.
There's lots of great food! My recommendation would be breakfast buffet, it's delicious! Either Seasoul or Bamboo for lunch....I could eat at Bamboo every day! For dinner, you can't go wrong with any of the restaurants. Probably my least favorite was the French restaurant but I just don't think I love French food... except dessert! 🤣 We didn't try the room service so I'm not sure how that is but I bet it's good. Have a great time! 🥰

Was there any entertainment, nightlife, music played by the pool? My husband and I will be there in a few weeks. I like peace and relaxation. My husband likes music and party vibes. We both enjoyed Secrets Maroma though…so we’re going to try Moxche.
Yes! There was always live music being played by one of the pools! There are really fun shows every night too at the theater. There are even a few poolside shows at night! Everything was really fun! Your husband will love the activities pool during the day and the sports bar after the shows. You will love the relaxing lagoon pool. Honestly, we had the best time split between a chill vibe and party vibe.
A covid test to return home wasn't required when we were there the first of May but I think those protocols have been lifted since. The only time we had to wear masks was in the Cancun airport and we chose to wear them on the plane.

They were working on the club when we were there. It could be finished when you get there. The nightlife is decent. They have shows in the auditorium and the Darkhorse bar afterward. It's not too crazy, but enough to keep you entertained.

Honestly, the construction was a non-issue for us. We never heard it and we rarely saw anyone out there. I'm sure it's different for other people but you DEFINITELY can't hear anything if you're in your room. We were mainly on the resort in the pools and we NEVER heard any construction.

Did the resort have COVID protocol in place? Such as was testing required for instance?

We booked through the hotel and we included our flight in the price so I'm not sure how much the breakdown would be per day.

I did see some cars parked about a block from the entrance. I bet that's where people are parking. You should call them and ask, they are so helpful!
They did have an area for rental cars next to the entrance gate as you come in, but it was very limited. It was first come first serve.
