I totally believe Wargaming has the mental dissonance necessary to simultaneously call something endangered and punish someone for killing them while also claiming it's a successful design that's popular with the playerbase.

Easy, the only things you have to worry about are Yamagiris, Yugumos and other Shimas, and somewhat Kageros and Jagers but the only danger they pose is spotting and torps.
It's a mod - he's also using the smoke mark mod, which allows you to see where your and enemy ships released smoke puffs, giving you hints how they moved.
If we ever get another Azur Lane collab in the future, I'd love to see Shimakaze (Voiced by Saori Hayami) be one of the ship commanders & have a special AL themed ship like Prinz Heinrich, Littorio, and Montpelier.
Too bad she's gonna be a part of 9000 doubloon 5 waifu pack with stupid expendable camos we can't choose not to buy. Just like the next Azur lane collab will probly have the previous year waifus in an all in one pack for 30 or 40k doubloons only - won't be allowed to buy em separately. We'll be lucky if they give us 1 waifu for a free grind too - cuz last Hololive event, they lied about Fubuki or Moona being free to choose after a grind.

I also question the players who know what mode they are queuing for and still play from the max range often ending up further back then their spawn.
Wargaming does not tolerate the behavior of hunting animals that are considered "Endangered Species" according to Wargaming's internal spreadsheets.
