USB to SATA on a 3.5 inch Hard Disk

Adding an External Power Supply in a USB to SATA Adapter to connect to a 3.5inch Hard Disk.

I did that but my adapter isn't reading the hdd drive I test it on two working drives but nothing

You need to supply hdd with 12V and 5V you can use some old power supply connectors..
