      @@ItzBeleking they need to put the stone to the circle thingy. but the twist is that each other can push other stone out of the circle. The team with the most stones in the circle wins. as easy as that. (and the mopping is so that the stone would slide further

    I was very happy for the medal that the Koreans won, but the analytical capacity of Hasselborg and her team is incredible, losing the point on purpose in the second end just to keep the hammer is a genius thing.

      When a team scores the other team gets to throw the last stone which is of course a big advantage. Often it's better to not score and retain last stone than to score just 1 and give the advantage of last stone away.. @@siranjeevis4119

      Eu acho que é tipo bolinha de gude, joga no circulo e tenta tirar a bolinha dos outros e ai é como se qdo ngm conseguisse ficar dentro do circulo quem tivesse mais perto dele ganha, e se tiver outra "bolinha" mais perto do circulo do que qqr outra bolinha dos seus oponentes é outro ponto

    I'm new to this sport so I'm sorry if is a stupid question. At the second End, Hasselborg final shot, why the Sweden team take the last yellow stone out instead of scoring one point? I mean putting the own stone near the tee. Aprox 27:25. Thanks in advance.

      Sweden can keep the hammer (last stone) for a chance to score 2 or more in the next End, which they did :) Usually, you would want to score 2 or more with the hammer, while the opponent would try to get you to score just 1, or even steal the end (e.g. Sweden in ends 4 and 5)

      I suggest watching the men's curling. The commentators give clear rules, and when watching the video it helps understand. I won't say it because I have a hard time explaining things. Hopefully this helped you out!

      If you don’t score in an end, the next end you will have the advantage of having the hammer. This is to help you score the next end. Sweden scored meaning they would not get the hammer

    How can a tie be the goal of a team in an "end" when they can keep the rock inside de ring and take out the other team's one? As in the final throw for Sweden in the second end... This game is a little hard to understand lol

      From what I understand I think it means that Sweden gets to keep the hammer/final stone into the next round meaning they have greater control over the next round.

      Laws of Physics/Chemistry, when scrubbing the floor (made of ice) you increase the temperature causing the ice to melt and form a thin layer of liquid, so the stone has less friction force action, so it slides faster and change direction.
