    I have a friend who has a north facing patio that basically never gets sun. Do you have any suggestions for what herb might do the best there?

      If they want a medicinal herb with pretty flowers then black cohosh. For culinary - most have to have at least a bit of sun to grow - mints may give you some leaves in deep shade but wont flower. Mints will do well under a tree with dappled shade. Both which I talk about. thanks for watching!
