After all these years, Tari got a new voice actress. She’s actually doing a great job, considering this is the first episode she’s been in. Celeste truly did an amazing job voicing Tari all these years, and I’m happy to see her legacy is still being carried on. 💙

To be honest, meggy become the favorite child. Also, I really enjoyed the video. On how unique it is, even though it was a little weird.
As much as I like the new VA, what jasmine did is borderline unforgivable, firing someone without even telling them they are fired.
Jasmine took the blame for it but no one is trusting her apology: Robyn Barry-Cotter (SMG2) called it unsatisfactory. The buck stops with Kevin -- HE'S Jasmine's boss so HE needs to fall on his sword too/instead, especially since now stories are coming out alleging poor working conditions (which is the norm for animation, TBH)

My brother and I have loved your work for the past two years, and I especially appreciate it as a place where indie animation could thrive. But learning about the Celeste situation worries me and breaks my heart. I read her statement just this morning, and I understand completely why she is so heartbroken. I really hope you guys give her the apology she deserves, as clearly the reason she was given was inadequate and incorrect. If Glitch and SMG4 are meant to be a place for indie animation to thrive outside of corporate abuse, this is not demonstrative of that. I’m honestly disappointed and heartbroken, and after loving everything you guys stood for so long, I hope you fix this, for Celeste, for you, for the fans, and for indie creators and VAs everywhere.

I love how in 3:39, Tari's robot arm who’s now named Clench, tries to say where Tari came from in the SMG4, but for some reason, he is not allowed to say all of that.

It’s important to move on what’s done has been done not like what we say will change their minds yes the old voice actor was good but everyone has their own preferences but don’t look at the sad parts just enjoy the videos and try to bring your mood up
Luke, Kevin. I sincerely hope you address the situation with Celeste and that you do and handle it tactfully and tastefully. It really isn't right that you replace a VA, one that's been with you from the very beginning, without so much as word. Either you give Celeste her job back and have her voice Tari alongside Lottie, or come up with another way to ease/fix the situation.

I feel like the person in charge of the VA’S would need to be sincere as they are in charge of hiring or firing voice actors I agree that the producer needs to apologize but maybe the person in charge of hiring voice actors needs to more?

*_Celeste was not told she had been replaced !_* We all thought she stepped back like Lizzie (OG Meggy) did in 2022 because everyone knows CNS has a full-time job plus kids. Turns out she _wasn't_ too busy to return. SMG2's VA quit in protest.
Jasmine Yang apologized later but this was deemed "Unsatisfactory"… This could legit be the beginning of Glitch's end…
Yeah this is pretty messed up, no hate on the new voice actor but that was just wrong.
I don't know much about GLITCH's staff, but would Luke or Kevin be responsible or would it be up to someone else on Voice actors?
@@farawaytales4396 Jasmine Yang, the voice director, took responsibility, but the fault really lies with Kevin -- he's the one in charge so he should have been on top of this and/or made sure Jasmine was.
Celeste deserves a REAL explanation even if it's something like, "You're too expensive" or "Our scripts aren't ready until night before upload so if you can't record remotely on 30min notice we don't want you."

@@farawaytales4396 So far no one is upset with Lottie who based on her tweet announcing herself as Tari's new VA had absolutely no clue Celeste was left out of the loop on the recast. If I was in Lottie's position I'd feel awful and at least a bit ticked off about the circumstances.

Hey SMG4, could you please tell us why you replaced Celeste without her knowledge? I would understand if she stepped down on her own accord, but from what I’ve heard, she didn’t even know she was being replaced…
She was unaware of the change, Jasmine Yang, voice director of SMG4, revealed that the reason was that she forgot to notify Celeste of the change. David Doyle asked her about her not voicing Tari anymore is how she found out about the voice change.
Tbh, I didn’t notice the voice actor for Tari got replaced. But that doesn’t mean I'm just gonna hate and unsubscribe Smg4/glitch for that.

This is such a good episode, but I can't help but wonder why you decided to replace Celeste without making her aware.
It's a mystery. Also i just read the reviews and it seems like they aren't the best. Some compliment, but some expressed complete dissapointment. Well at least it's somewhat better than working for Disney.
@@thanh2425 I also read the reviews, and I think it's important to remember that anyone can leave reviews. The two biggest stand out reviews are both posted at the exact same time, both anonymous and both have a few spelling/grammar mistakes. Make of that what you will, but I find it quite odd
@@LegacyToons Glassdoor is anonymous by design to avoid jeopardizing one's career, but two negative reviews with almost identical phrasing posted at the exact same time IS pretty sus, not gonna lie.
That said, it's pretty clear to me Luke & Kevin have bitten off more than they can chew. Luke clearly wants to keep making SMG4 but evolving it -- that requires stronger writing the weekly upload schedule isn't designed for.

It's really good that Tari has got her own episode and such a remarkable Character arc with it, seeing how she's so keen in getting a new job while trying to find what she could truly be talented with was pretty wholesome, including the part where her robotic arm starts talking and it getting a name called "clench" shows more than how her character development can really expand to more friendly events like this, loved this video SMG4! :)

The person who voices both SMG2 and Theo got mad that the team never told her about this and she quit because of that. The person responsible for the “mistake” responded and SMG2s va is still mad and there is a lot of stuff that will remain private involving the situation

So now tari's arm can talk now and he looks like he will be interesting character, and also I don't think that clench can suddenly talk out of nowhere I think that the mysterious Tv man from before has something to do with this and I think he will be the main antagonist for this year in war of fat Italian 2024 or a could be James Sheridan from meta runner only time will tell
but the biggest question right now is why did clench malfunctioned when he tried to say where Tari was from? just like someone said unlike tari from meta runner tari in smg4 is the only character from the main gang who we don't know where she's from and what her origins is and that will bring so many theories and lore soon and hopefully we will learn more about her in the near future, but anyway I can't wait for the full season of the amazing digital circus and the final two episodes of murder drones, anyway keep up the amazing work SMG4
Technically tari has a real lofe issue called ALIEN HAND SYNDROME WHERE YOUR ARM ACTS HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN AND HAVE BEEN CASES OF IT TRYING TO CHOKE THE PERSON WHO HAS IT
