I agree with you 127%. Long ago (my daughter is 42 now) Westside Don Williams in St Augustine when she was a baby. After he said he came over and touched my then baby girl and said she was beautiful. At 36 my beautiful baby girl was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Now 6 years later not only do I have a miracle in my daughter's remission but I have a 2 year old granddaughter and a 2-month-old granddaughter. Don Williams was right - she is beautiful

Surprisingly i discovered this masterpiece this year, 2 weeks ago (Jan 2024), while driving through the Highway from my hometown to Shillong, where i settled for my studies, crossing two states. Played this song on repeat mode and enjoyed the long journey while passing through the long and dusty country road.❤️

I've followed him since his days with the Pozo Seco Singers in the 60s. Not only do I love his music, I admire the MAN. We have our Willie's and Possum's, and we love their music too. But Don brings a LOT to the table. He has written wonderful lyrics, and his voice has soothed millions. Gotta love this guy.

I cannot stop listening to this. I've always really liked Merle's version--he wrote it, after all, and it is Merle's song. However, the first time I heard Don's version, I was stunned. This is beautiful, heartbreaking, perfect. I never thought anyone could outdo Merle, but Don Williams has. WOW!
Don Williams is a simple creature, just like me. Simple things in life are priceless such as happiness, sadness, positiveness is life's journey, it all depends on a frame of mind and the meaning of Don's words, I love all his songs. One of my favorites is 'It Must Be Magic' as that pertained to me all my married life and my late husband was the person that introduced Don's songs to me and have loved his songs ever since.
RIP Don....you will be greatly missed but your music will live on. Most singers as they get older struggle to sing like they used too. Don never lost that smooth rich voice as it stayed the same until the day we lost him.

Brings back memories of my Nova Scotia kitchen parties with my uncles and cousins . Three of them were RCA recording artists . They all played and sang these Country songs along with their own hits. Too bad I was so young to appreciate the great music . They had so many famous musicians at times over the years, my mother was in a blissful state . Tommy Hunter , Hank Snow and Brenda Lee to name a few. I write songs, but my 4 children have the musical talent . Skipped a generation .

The anxiety and pressures I was going through and just listening to them songs dragged me by the scruff of my neck through it all - they just helped keep me reminding that the end of the day was always in sight and I will make it through the next one. To Anyone else struggling with the stresses of the world, tomorrow is untouched - who knows what wonders it'll bring, keep fighting the good fight.

Simple things in life are priceless such as happiness, sadness, positiveness is life's journey, it all depends on a frame of mind and the meaning of Don's words, I love all his songs. One of my favorites is 'It Must Be Magic' as that pertained to me all my married life and my late husband was the person that introduced Don's songs to me and have loved his songs ever since.

Brings back memories of my Nova Scotia kitchen parties with my uncles and cousins . Three of them were RCA recording artists . They all played and sang these Country songs along with their own hits. Too bad I was so young to appreciate the great music . They had so many famous musicians at times over the years, my mother was in a blissful state . Tommy Hunter , Hank Snow and Brenda Lee to name a few. I write songs, but my 4 children have the musical talent . Skipped a generation .
