moto 4 is a pretty cool machine
I had one of these about 10 years ago. They’re fun little quads, but yes, mine was smokin towards the end when I got rid it two

I have a 350 from 1988 and I love it.
@Fullsend Offroad That is one machine I have never drove I actually don’t see to many of that style moto 4’s around here.
I'm a 1990 250 guy, but I love all the sizes. I'm rocking tire chains this winter and using it for ice fishing. Next winter I think I'm going to try an Ebay ski kit.
@@rockspowersports Isn't the big bear the same thing as the moto4 350? Big bears came out in 87 as a yfm350, unless the moto4 350 was the 2wd version.
@Frog Snacks If your talking about a 1990 Yamaha moto 4 250 that you have then yes Yamaha made a 350 2x4 version just like yours. The 4x4 version they called a moto4 big bear until they dropped the moto 4 name.

@@rockspowersports That big rock you always evade at the start, a right then a left, up the hill, cross the water, up the 4x4 climb, that marshy nasty part on the other end ...these places need names Rock hehe ..I love it!

I bought mine for 400 bucks, put 30 into brakes and 50 into tires, damn good runner
My first atv was a Yamaha champ 100 Moto 4 light blue. It looked a lot like that was a 1987 model I think.

my cousin had a moto 4 80 that me and him use to ride on together when we were kids… I don’t know how we both fit on there looking back now, neither one of us were small.
@@rockspowersports my dad has a mint 1988 Moto 4 350 right now and it’s a good atv it’s tan with gold wheels

A couple questions because I’m currently redoing the wiring on a moto4 from this era, for one thing, I see you’re missing the choke and the key turner on the handlebar, how do you turn the thing off then? Also I may ask you some questions about the wiring later
I just bought one that needs a lot of work like a lot.. but i cant seem to find a headlight cluster, seat, gas tank and especially a battery connecter as well as a handle bar cluster in wanting to get it running and ride it it’s my first fourwheeler if any knows where i can find somewhere to get all these parts please let me know
I am working on a full restoration of my 1985 Yamaha 200 Moto 4 and posting videos on my channel as I go along. Not sure what I will do with mine after I finish it. What do you think you will be able to sell yours for? I may decide to sell mine too as I have a Timberwolf 250 I want to restore next and could put the money toward that. Nice riding trail you have!
I think the prices very depending on which state your selling them in. I’d say around here in this condition it would probably bring $500-600

I was watching your kawasaki teryx video earlier and I have a 2004 yamaha rhino 660. I can only get about 42 out of it. It does have 27 inch tires. Sometimes when it gets up to 42 it back fires. Is there any way to make it a little faster?
@giants 78 JBS machined clutch sheaves are you best way to increase top speed on your Rhino.

i just purchased one of these for my chis son. i paid 500.00 prob over paid but was the cheapest quad i could find. i repaired the electric start since the recoil start was so hard to pull for him. was told it was a 250 but don't think they made a 250 cc with no shocks lol idk i am not a moto 4 mechanic lol but it sure seems to go more than 40 ha ha or maybe it just rides so hard it seems faster
