Hi. I enjoy your perspective and am open to it, but have a few questions.
When you say Jeshua and Paul and the others continued to offer sacrifices, is it possible that they did this only while Jeshua was still alive, as he had not as yet given himself as the final sarcrifice that all other previous sarcrifices were a shadow of. If so, can you supply scriptural evidence that the apostles continued to offer sarcrifices after Jeshua's death and ressurection. I am not intending to challenge or disprove your belief, but am simply confused as to why sarcrifices were still necessary after Jeshua's death and ressurection.

Jesus death covered the Sin sacrifice, but there are more occasions that required sacrifices.
Good question. I think Acts 21 is a good example of Paul making a. offering after the death of Yeshua.

Sir, it seems that the crowd grabbed Paul before the sacrifice was actually made, maybe? This is such an interesting topic. I had brought this up to some friends years ago……..I had wondered why Paul had agreed to a Purification ritual, when he seemed to discourage such things. I will have to keep searching and praying.

What would a believer do today to end the Nazarite Vow since there’s not Tent of Meeting or no Priests. Can you shave your own head and burn your hair or would you save it until you have a chance to journey to the New Temple? Or our we the Temple and the Temple that will be constructed in Jerusalem a different topic?
I just know, many of the customs we can't fullfill. Some we can, if observed through a Messianic fellowship, especially the feasts. I do observe the Sabbath on my own, no I don't go anyway, but I enjoy being fed the word. So I strive to the observe the Sabbath, not fot legalism sake either. If I were to think of a place where Paul was confused would be in 1st or 2nd Corinthians regarding liberties. Only place up now that I can think of.

Why then the gentiles Christianity is not accursed and we can recognise it as false by their fruits?
Paul does not sound like a Nazarene when he wrote Colossians 2:16-17. And were the apostles and elders mentioned in Acts 15 who sent letters to Gentiles also Nazarenes?
Take a look at verse 8.
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ.
Are God's instructions empty deception? Are God's instructions according to the tradition of men? Are God's instructions an elementary principle of the world? Of course not. Paul is telling his audience not be swayed by Gnostic ideas which became popular during that time. The Gnostics believed enjoying things, even a meal, was wrong. So Paul is telling his audience that it is ok to enjoy food and drink, and enjoy festivals and Sabbaths, and not to let the Gnostics tell them otherwise.

Those were the former idol worshippers and celebrated pagan festivals. Do you think the colossians now come to these new convert and ask
"Why you not keeping Passover, Pentecost, Trumpets and so on? "
Or
"Why you no longer celebrating our festival we used to celebrate?"
And Paul clearly said in Col 2:8, all celebrations, festival apart from YHVH festival are pagan, man made and tradition of men. That not subject to Christ.
But in Col 2:16-:17, he explain Sabbath, New moon and all Festival of YHVH are subject to Christ. It is shadow of things to come.
It will teaches about future Kingdom of Christ, about second coming, future judgments, new heaven and earth, just as it led Israelite for the first coming of Messiah.
@@mikel393 I do not believe Paul is saying anything more than what he wrote. He is warning his audience not to be taken in by vain philosophies and traditions of men. How do you garner from this verse that he is saying that it is fine to enjoy a meal? I think we should all take care not to add to or detract from what we accept as divinely inspired scripture. Also, Gnostics were not Stoics.

Paul was pointing that this *Moses' law was against us,* we no longer have to keep them because Yahusha nailed it to the cross.
having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that *was against us,* which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

“Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there as a *witness against you;* Deuteronomy 31:26
Now in New Covenant, believers must obey God's covenant commandment. But Moses' law is optional.
For example:
The command, 'Do not steal' is from Covenant laws and we must obey it.
But a woman must go in quarantine or we say as confinement period after gives birth is from set of Moses' law. We can choose to obey or not. Some mothers rest 60 days or some 90 days confinement, it's depends on them. This law is optional.
Anyway law of Moses is given to a group of people who just came out of slavery whom soon will form a greatest nation in the world. In order to that, Yah gave the ADDED laws to Moses. This is wisdom for us. Deu 4:5-8

Yeshua/Jesus did away with man-made laws (oral traditions adding and taking away from YHVH's word) not Torah. Huge difference! Moses only commanded what GOD commanded him. It is eternal. Matthew 5:17-20, Matthew 15:3, and Colossians 2:14.

Yes, Moses' law is God's law. But that was given to act as tutor till Yahusha comes. Gal 3:23-25.
Moses' law is a object lesson which all Torah pouts to Messiah and Messiah always turn people back to Torah, a covenant relationship with Creator.

Jews couldn't understand Torah and obey it perfectly because Torah is spiritual. And they were not spiritual people.

So we are not put away the law but obey the same Yah's law by spirit.

Romans 8:3-4
But their minds were blinded. For *until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament,* because the veil is taken away in Christ. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is , there is liberty.
II Corinthians 3:14-17
Times Biblical characters break Torah: David eating the showbread, priests working on the sabbath, Jesus's disciples plucking grain on the sabbath, Peter eating at Cornelius's house, and Peter "living after the manner of the gentiles (Gal. 2:14). You are failing to recognize the distinction between laws in the Torah. The gentile nations were judged on some of the OT laws which were universally applicable (Lev. 18 and 19's sexual mores for example), but not on others. This distinction applies to gentile Christians too. It is impossible, now, to keep the Torah in full anyway. The Torah commands animal sacrifices and temple rituals which are now impossible.

@@graftedin5440 With what you stated, you defeat the sayings of Jerome, Augustine, and Epinaeus. Anathema means "Cursed," as in damnation by God. Optional means neither sinful nor forced. Early writers breaking fellowship, anathematizing and speaking evil of believers is not indicative of an optional difference.

That’s not considered breaking Torah. Do a study on each of these. Yeshua pointed out time when people did things regarding the preservation of life and ministry in the temple. Working in your local church or synagogue is not considered work. The Pharisees had law that attempted to go above the law of God given to Moses. Moreover, there were many things Gods people did before the temple was built and even after it was destroyed. The absence of the temple doesn’t mean through out the baby with the bath water.
I was attempting to distinguish the baby and the bathwater. None of the priestly portions of the Torah, or the sacrifices, can be done according to the Torah today. @@essenceofgrowing7804
With the absence of the Temple, how can the whole Torah be kept? If G-d meant that the old Torah should be kept the temple would have been preserved.
Also in Galatians 2:12-14 It appears very clear that Peter and Paul both "Livest after the manner of the Gentiles".

The confusion will be cleared if all Christians understand the different between Torah, the Covenant Book and Moses' Book of law

Now in New Covenant, believers must obey God's covenant commandment. But Moses' law is optional.
For example:
The command, 'Do not steal' is from Covenant laws and we must obey it.
But a woman must go in quarantine or we say as confinement period after gives birth is from set of Moses' law. We can choose to obey or not. Some mothers rest 60 days or some 90 days confinement, it's depends on them. This law is optional.

In Acts 26 Paul not only did the Nazarene vow (Numbers 6) but paid for others sacrifices to prove torah not done away with.

@@iguanapoolservice1461 YES! The vow of Numbers 6. Forgive me. Paul did this vow in Acts 21:20-27...not chapter 26. The only mention of sacrifices being "done away with" is in the book of Hebrews chapter 10 which must be taken in context. The author is quoting the Tenach (1 Samuel15:22/Isaiah 1:11) saying it is not the blood that forgives but repentance. YHVH wants obedience over sacrifice. The sacrifice is to draw near to GOD who is an all consuming fire. Isaiah 60-66 and Ezekiel 40-48 describe the future temple during Messiah's reign...with sacrifices! The key is knowing the difference between earthly temple run by Kohenim and heavenly temple run by Yeshua as High preist in the order of Mechizedek. Moshe(Moses) designed all from the heavenly pattern...a shadow of things to come (Hebrews 10:1). Also, most sacrifices are food for the priests according to Leviticus. Be blessed!
