- Writer-director Matt Reeves' gritty new take on the World's Greatest Detective is easily one of the most highly anticipated films of the year, and much to the delight of fans everywhere, it's finally here. The film picks up with a younger Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) in just his second year as "The Batman," following him as he attempts to apprehend a serial killer who calls himself the Riddler, only to discover a conspiracy with unexpected implications. Ahead of the film's release, RT correspondent Naz Perez sat down with Reeves, Pattinson, and co-stars Zoë Kravitz (Selina Kyle), Paul Dano (The Riddler), Jeffrey Wright (Lt. James Gordon), Colin Farrell (The Penguin), and John Turturro (Carmine Falcone) to talk about the choices they made in the film. Reeves explains the revolutionary VR technology that helped him craft the cinematography, including the already iconic upside-down camera shot from the trailers, and Pattinson and Kravitz discuss their sizzling chemistry and what makes this Bruce Wayne so brutal. Dano and Wright offer insights into Riddler's laugh and Gordon's implicit trust in Batman, while Farrell and Turturro explain how old recordings and classic comics informed their characters. Check out the full interview and catch 'The Batman' when it hits theaters on March 4, 2022.

#TheBatman #RobertPattinson #MattReeves - Krátké a kreslené filmy
the amount of jawline in this interview can alone cut through everyone expectation
😂😂😂😂
Who’s is stronger Zoë or Rob 😂
Matt Reeves is genius. One of the greatest directors in this generation
He has made some really high quality films
Dude is a mad creative genius, watched the movie 4 times by now and omg it only actually seems to get better the more i watch it, so many subtle details put into it. At some point Bruce even seems to meet his parent's killer and he doesn't even seem to realize it..
The chemistry between Rob and Zoey in the film was incredible. Every time they were together on screen it was electric.
Naz is such a good interviewer, you can tell she really loves Batman and everything she is asking about
The VR technology is absolutely incredible! I so hope they talk about that in the special features of this movie, because that sounds absolutely groundbreaking and I would love to learn more about that.
One thing I like about Colin Farrel is that he always says refers to the interviewer. I’m not really faulting actor that don’t do this because it’s long days of interviews a lot of times and there are a lot of similar questions asked. However, it’s nice that he takes the time to acknowledge each interviewer as an individual person.
Matt is honestly a genius.
Matt Reeves is absolutely incredible. To make a 3 hour movie filled with absolutely incredible shots liek the lighting with the gunshots, the upclose facial expressions, Matt put an unbelievable amount of work into this and it shows with this outrageously good movie. One of my top 3 favorites.
The technology breakthrough thats being used in Mandalorian and this, should be the future of every movie.
Agreed
Agreed
Is it the huge round screen thing from mando? I saw the video on it
No it really shouldn’t because your eyes can pick up what looks fake and that doesn’t blend well with cinematography and looks terrible
The Mando technology was firstly used in WestWorld though!
Matt looking like Jim Gordon😂
Matt Reeves incredible level of detail took this movie to another level.
i love how much he talks and how excited he is
The interviewer is actually good at her job. It's been a while since I've seen that!
Matt/the team and VR cinematography = Iconic🔥
3.52 is classic Rob, guy cracks me up
Matt Reeves could play an excellent Commissioner Gordon, I just can SEE it
Is she interviewing the director .......or Gordon?
A Batman reboot taking place in his second year of vigilantism. He struggles with his first major enemy the Riddler while at the same time contending with Catwoman and Penguin.
Love This❤️
Heath Ledger, Robert Pattinson, Paul Dano...
WB really know how to cast heartrob kinda guy and turn them into a psychotic character!
Just watched it earlier today. It's not perfect, but the amount of good they did supremely outweighs the nitpicky negatives I have with it. That said, I thought ALL of the actors did excellently with their roles. Unsurprised as to how good Pattinson and Dano are with their roles but the standouts for me are Zoey as Selina, Collin as Penguin, and Jeffrey as Gordon.
Be quiet dude.
no movies perfect not even the dark knight
@@kamsitheprince It's subjective. A problem you have with a movie, someone else may not.
You’re not perfect. That’s why you have the audacity to nitpick a masterpiece
@@tommyraygun5443 your not perfect either, no ones perfect, a masterpiece doesn't equal perfect, theres always room for improvement.
I didn't know that was Colin Ferral
Man this movie is a masterpiece. I'm really hoping that the HBO series be all R Rated. It will be awesome to see Penguin and Arkham Asylum in this brute/violent take.
Nice rings colin...
A WAW AMAZING
Turturro in these interviews keeps referring to a Frank Miller comic called "The Last Halloween", which...doesn't exist. I think he got it mixed up and is most likely referring to the Jeph Loeb comic "The Long Halloween".
Frank Miller was for Year One. He mentioned that first.
@@catsillustrated He keeps bringing up Year One and "Last Halloween" together under the description of "the Frank Miller comics". Multiple interviews. It's a pattern. I'm not just talking about this one interview.
@@Swenglish well it makes sense to put them together but he didn't literally say it was from miller
@@stam7250 See above.

This movie literally looks like the arkham city cg trailer!

whats the name of the interviewer ?
Naz Perez
Also the question ab previous actors who played the roles and what they say??🙄 Plz they have been asked ah these million times already, i understand why it's so boring to do these interviews
w0w

Dude can interviewer just chill??🙄🙄🙄i mean it's been 1 second and she's already thirsting over them, can she not read a room?? It's making things akward. At least word it differently, more professionally woul you?🙄 Jesus
She's just giving compliments. She asked good questions.
Woman interview honestly.
No they had zero chemistry, Catwoman was flirty but Batman was focused more on getting the info cldnt careless abt feline female
We did not watch the same movie
I thought their chemistry was just fine too, not anything amazing or unique. During Most of the movie it doesn't do much, Selena was more pissed with her roommate gone, kidnapped and all she could think about was her but they did grew on me a bit at the end of the movie. Still not much memorable or great chemistry like the interviewer said it to be in this interview.
@@amy_yoshikawa yeah I agree their was no chemistry to be had,
Salena was more busy with finding her roommate and Batman was more into being Batman
Blahhhh...
@@dianwidayanti939 what contribution amaze balls... You know the 2nd name in line for Karen's is Dian..
