Ironically, G1 Ariel was once going to be a separate character. However, her strong resemblance to Elita-One basically saved her during production.

The tragic nature I mentioned was how in life it was always mistaken for Disney, Dreamworks, or Pixar. Then its ultimate fate was to the borg-esque absorbed by Disney and dissolved. TwT
I did very much appreciate that you kept bringing it up so much, though! Classic misconception aside, it brought a smile to my face. Especially when you remembers Bigwell and Cappie’s names! If I ever make my own Elita design, you’d better believe I’ll be taking some cues from Cappie now.

Elita isn't my favorite female Transformers, but I do like that she's been getting more appreciation nowadays. Really like her design in Earthspark, but in terms of story, I really felt bad for her during Animated.
I really like Elita One's designs in G1, EarthsSpark, IDW, Animated and dope Elita's fan art design for TFP. I especially really loved how TF: Animated depicted Elita as a tragic villain being left behind and reimagined as Black Arachnia, which I think was a really cool idea that sort of gave Optimus his own Catwoman love interest, someone who has good in them but still can't be trusted, I just wish we could've seen more of her.
So, Elita in Transformers One is being voiced by Scarlet Johansson, an actress who famously played a character named after a spider?
Given her arc in Transformers Animated, that is a really weird coincidence.

Optimus Prime is related to a green cladded trickster who looks like a certain trickster god (Look up Liege Maximo) and had old father figures who are considered ancient in their world (Alpha Trion) and had special artifacts that chooses beings who are WORTHY of them.
Elita One is mother. She is an icon, she is a legend, and she is the moment. 🩷

Elita one is the mouthpiece for one of my favorite quotes in the franchise “you survived, therefore you did not fail”

So far, my favorite Elita-1 design has to be the one from Earthspark! It appeals to me very much ❤🩷!
I actually like the Legacy Elita-1 figure, mainly because she actually transforms into a car, and those pauldrons can moved in different ways so that she's not pulling a Minerva. Also, I don't know why people are complaining about the mold being reused three times; we actually got a car-mode Elita that's not hampered by a gimmick, Minerva just kills it with that look, and they did plent of retooling to make it work for Strongarm.

21:21 funny you say that cam ultra covered a deleted scene in episode synthesis ratchet was going to break prime's stoickism but they cut that bc prime doesn't show feeling. He was going to clean docbot's clock. That should have been a scene to show optimus can show emotion. I have respect to PC but it's like they had Tom selleck as prime

Amazing video as always! Sorry for giving you a hard time for not making the video sooner. I do like how you have a fan of a character as a guest in your videos giving their opinions on the designs. I honestly didn’t care much for Elita-1 up until EarthSpark where they gave her the best design ever! It’s one of my favorite designs in the series and I like what they did with Elita-1 in the series by making her the second-in-command of the Autobots and Cissy Jones’ portrayal of Elita-1 also helps out my interest in Elita-1. Some of my other favorite Elita-1 designs are the Evergreen, Power of the Primes render, and the Prime concept art. I’m excited to hear Scarlett as Elita-1 in Transformers: One!

I love elita! I just wish she was featured in more!
I think we really missed out on Elita on Tf Prime and Tf Rid, she might have been originally cast in there but I think (correct me if I'm wrong) Tf Rid season 5 got canceled and so we never got to see her or even Megatron for that matter in the show. And for Tf Prime she might have been mentioned in it when Ratchet was on synthetic energon and said to Optimus that he couldn't save her, and Optimus in turn punched Ratchet. But the people working on it decided to scrap that interaction because they thought that scene didn't embody Optimus.
And I love Elita so much anything would have been fine. The day I found out Optimus has a girlfriend/sparkmate I became obsessed especially when I found out about her, I was sad to find out how little she's actually been in the franchise. But I hope that there will be more of her.
Has anyone else notice that 2007 movie Elita-1 toy at 12:50 (repaint of Energon Arcee), kinda looks like Rise of the Beasts Arcee?

When I first saw Arcee's ROTB design I knew I had seen it fifteen years earlier at Target, copied that shit damn near 1:1 they did
To me, all of the Elita One designs on the top tier are absolutely amazing in my opinion. Also I am SO happy that the fan made Prime design made it to the list, absolutely perfect for the show if she was ever in it. Love the Animated design too.
I don't know if anyone else has this feeling, but when I first saw Animated Elita, I thought she was a female Bumblebee or Bumblebee's sister. It's mostly due to them being very similar in color.
That’s what I honestly liked about Animated’s version of Elita.
They made her design unique compared to the one that came before her.

In Animated, there was going an episode where Optimus travels back in time to stop Elita from Becoming Blackarachnia. However, changing the past results in Optimus, somehow, being the one that got infected. Becoming Arachnus Prime. Though I guess he technically would have been Tarantulus. Elita would be Elita Prime, and would look a bit more like her past incarnations. Mainly having her signature helmet look.
Pretty good character and I hope we see her in season two of our far.

I think the ambulance comment about legacy seems correct.
When making a Minerva design, i used some traits of it mixed with the original characters Porsche alt mode, some detail from the animation model, and the original toys transformation, and it somehow turned out pretty nicely.
I like the Legacy Elita-1. She got a cute face, and she's not a full-on shellformer for once 😊

21:44 regarding that particular scene from RID2015, my buddies and I managed to uncover and take note of EVERY, and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE who was blacklisted and shown on screen. I have the exact time stamp as well as the screenshots to prove it.

I finally got my hands on Legacy Elita-1, but her paint was scratched on the bumper, so I had to return it. It sucks, but the figure is/was great.

And honestly elita being a prime would be cool. Like a "what if" situation and she'd take the mantle of being a prime if optimus died

Optimius the wise stoic father figure that everyone wants to be around but can be aloof at times complimented by Elita the more down to earth mother figure able to bring the team together with Arcee bulkhead and bumble bee the routy siblings and Ratchet the grumpy Uncle
Awesome video. I'm now stuck between her and Arcee as my favourite female Transformer. Loved hearing Lita's joy over EarthSpark Elita One, and it's making me want to check out EarthSpark.

For the Earthspark design, I read the 'skirt' as tassets, which I think fits very well.

40:40 that world sounds like hell because Scarlett Johansson as Elita-One is some of the most generic casting I’ve seen in since forever. This is something I’d expect from a fan casting from a fan who doesn’t know any better. Scarlett’s voice is so understated and stoic I can’t for the life of me imagine her as Elita-One.
Having both Elita 1 and just getting the War Dawn 2 pack this year, I must say this is a wonderful lady worthy of prime himself. Glad you got this list together 👌👌👌

I really loved the ROTF arcee sisters. I thought the design was out there and really cool
I got Elita One two years ago for my birthday on 2022, and she looks absolutely stunning
Bayverse elite-1 got that one scene, then “BAM!” She got shot in the face soon after
But prime elite-1…god, that design has me questioning my choices right now
Elite one is such an underrated that getting more spotlight I always loved her because of her realation with prime and how the two Benefit from each and are both leaders im always torn weather I like her or agree more there both amazing in different ways
I wish Elita-one and The other female transformers like ones in comics like Nautica,Velocity, Or Even Nickel in Transformers Media, I love to see if they ever get a Spotlight in a Show or a Movie, But honestly my Favorite Elita-one Design Was obviously The Prime one, it felt so Cool yet Pretty to look at, I could’ve Imagine what would she be like in the Show, Arcee and Her would’ve been a Cool Duo, Like Pink and Blue!
Also ironic that one of the Elita-One toys is a retool of Energon Arcee, since Energon Arcee is named Ariel in Japan! Not sure why Takara didn't name her Elita-One instead.

I also like Earthspark, Evergreen, Animated, G1, Timeline redeco, Titan comic, IDW, Legends card art modified version (27:34), and JPL Animation.
For the longest time I also thought the Bayverse bikes were the three "twins". But the army guy's delivery is just bad, he calls the bike unit Arcee and then also calls out for Skids and Mudflap, since all 5 of them chase Sideways.

After the part with TFP Elita I'm now curious about a fanfic with her at the start of the show, but stuck on a few things, first Scrapheap, who goes with Optimus cause both Arcee and Elita would be emotional when the "about to die" talk happens and when Elita gets her Beast Hunters look cause one idea is that maybe she stayed with Optimus when the base got blasted and Smokescreen carried them both to that hiding place where she was just unconscious til episode 4 , talks to Smokescreen and Optimus for a bit and gets repaired by the hammer at the same time as Optimus gets revived, but she doesn't die just heavily injured.
Also I know nothing about car models so I don't even know what car she transformers into, both of her season 1-3 and Beast Hunters art.
I am curious about Lita's stories but don't know where they are? Or what handle she's using for AO3
I watched Robots as a kid and it was a good film, liked it
Edit: forgot to add the different meanings of who goes with Optimus in Scrapheap, if Acree goes as canon it's a moment between two people who fought together and are practically family vs Elita, who probably doesn't have the Ariel backstory so she's just Elita from the start, been his friend from he's days as Orion, most likely supported him during the talks for change, the war and fleeing Cybertron, and mostly likely they are dating or something after being there for each other for millions of years.

Elita One has been my favorite TF character for a while (I know, controversial spelling but I’ve always spelled it like this, so…). A friend made me a small statue of the Transformers Prime fan design, not realizing she wasn’t even in the show cause it looks so much like the official designs. It’s one of my favorite gifts!
Plus, Scarlett Johansson as Elita?! So excited!!!

Autobots:

Bumblebee: An Autobot scout who transforms into a modified yellow and black 1977 Chevrolet Camaro with all-terrain extensions.

Mikaela Banes: A teenage mechanic from Tranquility, California who enters the Autobot-Decepticon war when she acquires Bumblebee at a car sale. Mikaela forms a bond with Optimus Prime over their shared uncertainty about the future.
Sam “Spike” Witwicky: Mikaela’s best friend who aids her in repairing and hiding the Autobots.
William Lennox: An agent of Sector 7, a government agency of human allies to the Autobots.
Decepticons:
Megatron: The evil leader of the Decepticons who transforms first as a gray Abrams M1A1 tank/MH-53 Pave Low helicopter and later into a white and black Sector 7 hovertank.
Starscream: The treacherous leader of the Decepticon Seekers who transforms into a gray, red and blue F-15 Eagle.

I’m planning on doing a video reading of my pitch with some voice work if anyone is interested, but if enough people want it, I’m considering an animated feature that is either 2D-animated or stop-motion similar to Laila’s movies.

I'm excited to see her chemistry with Orion Pax
2015 RiD looks like it has the best Elita head that keeps some design queues from G1 but dumps the rest of the ugliness of that head design and we can't even see the full design because of that giant red stamp over the card. Second best Elita head design is Siege.
Head design aside, I think the jet mode Swolita One is probably my favourite. Earthspark is good (Again minus head design) but I don't like the pink face or the brighter pink on the limbs. The pink on the vehicle kibble is fine but the pink everywhere else instead of silver or some other colour between light grey and darker grey is just overkill.
Edit: Oh hey, that Evergreen design has actually has a good head design too. That makes 3.

The WFC Trilogy design and Prime fan design for Elita One have gotta be the most curvaceous and sexy Transformers designs in the world, only second to Prime Arcee.

I believe that head on the Earthspark design should be modified to fit the Bumblebee style and used if she appears in the Knightverse.

Well, technically, regarding Eliza’s combiner for POTP, she has 2 different names for the 2 combiners she has, both with the same torso, just that the rest of the combiner makeups are different. One is Elita 1nfinite, as you mentioned in the video, and the other is named Orthia, which is the one which has been advertised most of the time
