perfect video for a sunday. I live in germany and people start with fireworks a week before new years and they buy soooo much. and not even just fireworks that look nice but firecracker that make awful noises and I think just a small amount of people actually enjoy that everyone else is just annoyed that there still aren't any restrictions in germany. so your new eyes sounded very lovely and I love the bonnet and always love to see other peoples bookshelf.
Oh goodness that sounds intense! Some people just love them I guess haa
ahh i love to see how other people organise their books!! i feel like it's something i'd really obsess over if i let myself
I’ll try and do a full tour at some point this year. I could also definitely just re organise on loop haha x
This was so relaxing, I love book shelf tours! I live in a van so my book shelf is tiny! But one day I'll have a big one again.
Wow and I’m complaining my apartment isn’t big enough for as many books as I need Gahah
I had a physio who told me to just force myself to sit up straight. Cheers dude. My personal least fav drs are dermatologists though
Aww hannah feel your pain its hard im going through peri menapause and with chronic illness aswell its sooo hard take care of yourself and dont feel guilty about resting i struggle with that alot
Thank sounds intense Leona. Sending you rest too x
seeing my book on your shelf 😭😭😭 i separate my fic and non-fic because i like to keep my work and relaxing spaces separate in my home. like i cannot relax if i can see all the sick lit i’m yet to read 🫠 but i also love how it means i have books throughout my home and allows me to curate little tbr piles if and when i’d like them
Yea th at makes a lot of sense. Mine is coincidentally organised so from the sofa I can only see books I’ve read and that feels good haha
Love the bonnet hannah wish I could get into knitting or crocheting! I watched the fireworks for new years too but in a park in Bristol lol very skins it was all diy fireworks too Happy new year lots of love x
It’s definetly a great brain break hobby! And CZcams makes it easy to learn the basics 🙏
Hahaha that nye sounds a little chaotic
the same thing happens in germany re fireworks except you can just buy them from like lidl or whatever! but only for a week. it’s so intense but also wholesome?
Haha you’re right it’s a strange mix of the two!
loved the bonnet and the new bookshelf;)
Thanks Julie 🥰❤️
I've sort of accepted having books everywhere. I'm okay with it. Like you, I'm a writer and there remind me of that, give me ideas, and make me go "oh, I want to read that book next time!"
That’s a lovely feeling
Love the new organisation! I’ve just moved and been looking for a bookshelf like that, may I ask where yours is from?
In Netherlands we ordered it from Sklum
Ooh you've inspired me - I have all of my bookshelves organised by colour right now, but it's quite hard to find anything 😂 maybe I need to rethink and form some collections!
Haha well it’s worth a shot! Plus the process of re organising is fun too x
@@hannahmay11 this is very true and I'm sure everything could do with a dust too!
@@hannahkeal2140 omg the dust on my ones on the floor was … unwell
My bookshelf at home is three shelves high (and also has a matching corner shelf but thats out in the living room storing my parent's movies/movies from my childhood) and it's really nice it was my Dad's as a kid and I think my great-grandma's before that, but the one problem is the shelves aren't adjustable and the bottom shelf is slightly taller than the top two so the only way I've managed to organize it is by book height so that all of the tall books go on the bottom shelf where they fit while the top two just start from smallest on the top shelf getting bigger left-to-right until I run out of room and move to the next shelf. I wish I could have some better way of organizing them but its what works for now and is certianly better than my uni apartment which just gets stuff stacked in random places when I'm there
Ah I love that, family pieces of furniture are so so special 🙏
I started reading wellness this week-not quite as far as you are. So interesting so far! I have a fluffy book I have to read before bed, though.😂 thank you for your recommendation about Doppelgänger, by the way-SO fascinating-trying to get anyone to discuss it with me!
Oh I’m so glad , I’ll be pushing that one into everyone’s hands this year too! The Jewish currents podcast episode with her is brilliant if you want to hear others conversing on it!
@@hannahmay11oh good to know! I’ll look that up! I have a writers podcast I follow that apparently has 5 hours of discussion with her. Now to balance that podcasts listening with all my reading 😂
I have a space problem on my shelves as well. I made some adjustments a few days ago and it looks less cluttered now.
That’s a good feeling for sure 🙏
You've read some interesting books, a couple I want to check out. 😊Thanks
Happy reading! 🌞📖
I struggle with book stores in amsterdam been too a few popular ones dont seem to find many did a trip myself last june found about 5 but theres not as many as we have in uk
Yes it’s definetly not as great as London which I do miss and the costs are higher too but I enjoy schletma a lot and boekhandel
