    The 2 Click Chirp Flare (or Chirp to 2 Click Flare) combines a chirp with a 2 click flare to create a funky 8 note combo. Using the twiddle technique allows you to attain greater speed with less effort - just make sure it’s clean! If you can do this wrist style at fast speeds, you are a beast!

    Took me ages to learn this scratch. It was the first one I actually dedicated a whole week to. I literally would only scratch that scratch. Definitely tightened it up.

    Thank you DJShortE, you are one of the best teachers of Skratching on the internet, I love the way you break it down so slowly & meticulously that it's so easy to learn. I have been watching your videos since about 2007 & you have thought me so much, keep up the good work, because there are too many DJ Course's on line that don't break it down the way you do, keep up the good work DJ ShortE, this is definitely your vocation, peace & love to you for helping me learn a new instrument. • @MrFab189
    @MrFab189 Před 9 lety

    great video !
    i have a other question ;)
    i think my holding of the fader is not good for any scratch im not sure. i hold the fader with my two fingers tight together the whole time i do a chirp or a flare. there is no space between the fader and the fingers. i think my position is not so good for fast chirps should i try to learn it new with some space between the fader and the finger ?
    i hope you understand its hard to explain in english ;)
    short version is ok to hold the fader every time or do it like a C shape with space between or hit the fader with one finger to right side and with other finger to left side(right handed)

    • @studioscratches
      @studioscratches  Před 9 lety

      MrFab189 You can use whatever method feels natural and relaxed to you. i tend not to keep a firm hold, favoring taps.

  • @jgirling6890
    @jgirling6890 Před 4 lety

    I'm getting the hang of this and can do it with fairly good speed BUT like most the scratches and combos I've learnt now with the quickness, I can't keep it up for more than 5 seconds without my fingers breaking down and the platter hand and the fader hand start losing its sync lol..do alot of people struggle with this when learning how to scratch ?

    sweet to see a female skratcher that can really cut and cuts my style. strong hand fader, hamster. in newer vids i don't see you use the pdx but back on techs. i've considered it but even the mk1s felt like they were super fragile and would break. debating on the reloops but wouldn't wanna have to trade in my techs for them. any specific reason you're no longer using the pdx? i like how the ultra pitch is a fader. if it had the build feel of the super oems id get one in a heartbeat.
