      @Lucifurion Před 19 dny +3

      A change of government won’t do anything because it’s exactly the same under both parties. Only a change in attitude from our politicians and from voters will result in any real lasting change for the aboriginal people. People need to stop voting based on what party someone belongs to and start voting based on what policies their local representative stands for and what their record is on delivering effective change for the better and delivering what they promise. Only when and if this happens will anything real and meaningful happen. Until then get used to the status quo.

      Exactly.👍 Most of these so called sacred site are all made up bullshit. I used to ask many different elders about some local sacred sites and got a different story every time! And I'm indigenous It's all about the money..💲💲💲
      I remember a company in Alice Springs who I won't name wanted to build another workshop shed on their own property, and one of the fellas in the near by town camp got wind of it, and said there was a sacred tree where they wanted to build.
      This so called sacred tree was only about 20 years old. It was BS.
      So the owner of the company found who put the claim and said to him what do you want for you tree? He said a new Toyota. So the owner of the business drove him to the local Toyota dealership and bought him a new LandCruiser. Got him to sign some paperwork and went back and dropped the tree. It was cheaper to buy this Bulger a car then go to court and go through all the Bullshit
      Red/Black tape. 💲💲💲

It is nobody's fault but their own if they are still living in poverty. It isn't about 'empowerment' or any other trendy catchphrases, it is about mindset. We need politicians who have the gumption to stand up to these aggressive cultures who use victimhood & racism to shame politicians into compliance. I am sick of seeing our leaders behaving like dogs with their tails between their legs. Pauline Hanson is literally the only leader I know of who will stand up to this brow beating from minorities. Does nothing but treat a symptom without curing the disease. Alcohol isn’t their problem, it’s the grinding poverty and boredom because they can’t do anything to develop the land they own to build wealth and a future for their people. When people have purpose and a future for themselves and their family alcohol abuse rates plummet. Besides that alcohol prohibition policy is up to local communities, not the government.

    Indigenous people have the right and a need to develop their lands safely while respecting their cultural beliefs.
