The CORIO CONSPEED and CORIO series are the corn harvesting heads suitable for harvesting grain corn or Corn-Cob-Mix. Whether in large stocks or with very dry corn stalks, the CORIO CONSPEED and CORIO corn harvesting heads ensure a clean harvesting process from LEXION to AVERO.
✅With the new hood tip folding mechanism, the CORIO and CORIO CONSPEED models can be shortened for road transport by almost 80 cm. This offers safe road transport even when entering and exiting fields with reduced visibility.
✅The hoods ensure a homogeneous and at the same time smooth feeding of the stalks of the maize plants to the bodies of the starter rollers. The stems are grabbed by the starter rollers, pulling them down. Starter plates simultaneously ensure a clean separation of the ears of corn from the stalks.
✅Horizontal choppers chop the stems with constant speed on their downward path. With the feeding auger the ears of corn are then transported to the feeding trough.
✅The main element of the CORIO CONSPEED and CORIO maize head are the bodies of the starter rollers, which at the same time represent the main difference between the two models.

Buenas, pregunta:
¿Para qué la máquina corta el tallo a medida que va bajando?
¿Hace falta que lo corte o lo podría dejar entero?

Hola, se podria dejar entero, el triturador de tallos es recomendado para situaciones donde la mineralizacion del rastrojo es lenta por cuestiones climaticas. En la mayoría de las situaciones (en Argentina y región) no se usa. Pero es muy util en climas frios.
