MSA fridge slide fix

  • Hi guys in this clip I show you how I fitted a Cord saver Track to my MSA drop-down fridge slide is there something that I should’ve done when I first bought it but I had a different type of cord protect there which never worked properly I recently had an accident where I cut the cord when putting the fridge Back in so I got on eBay bought one for about 10 bucks and this is how I fitted it Thanks for watching hope you enjoy hope it helps you out cheers stay safe and I’ll see you on the next one PS if you can like and subscribe that would be fantastic cheers 🇦🇺👍

    That cable extender is supposed to be pulled down with the cable - so that it pulls it back up when the fridge goes back up. This means attaching the cable on both ends (wire ties, looping through the spring holder, etc) so it can’t slide. No sense to it otherwise.
    That said, the CNC cable channel is miles better.

    Not that youre using the wire cable thing anymore but a better way to mount it is about halfway along the right hand side of the drop slide frame. So that it bends forward with the fridge as you extend it out and lower it. Then as you return the fridge to its lifted positon to slide in it takes back the cable slack 🤙

    I’ve got a better way to use that on the drop down fridge slide. I’ll see if I can find a video on how I used the cable run.
