Leong Chee Feng - Malaysian Table Tennis Rising Star

- Leong Chee Feng is the best table tennis player in Malaysia but is currently ranked 587 in the world. But trust me this is not accurate as his skills is worthy to become a top 100 player ranking in the world. The only reason he is ranked so low is due to the lack of participation in international table tennis tournaments. His highest world ranking is 175 in the world. He is a player with a very explosive forehand, sleek footwork and decent backhand. He recently played in the Sea Games Hanoi 2021 and his performance was superb. Here is a small compilation of all his best shots. Enjoy!

Why should TTAM send Leong overseas for more competitions? How is it going to benefit those id-10-t in power?
By participating in more international competitions he can gain more ranking points. He also can gain more experience against top players in the world by doing so. Weird to have a national team if you're not sending them out to international tournaments don't you think? If BAM can send their players to play in BWF tournaments and FAM can send national team to play FIFA qualifiers, it's only fair that TTAM does the same.
Malaysian players skills are actually not bad. I'm confident that their level is at least top 150 in the world, not outside of the top 300. Even neighbouring countries like Thailand and Singapore send the players out to overseas tournaments. Don't have to send them to big tournaments like China open or Japan open but at least should send them to tournaments held in neighbouring countries.
A very good malaysian player..but lack of sponsorship in malaysian table tenis unlike thailand & singapore ..from what i see he manage to get top 32 or top 16 in china open before losing to ma long 4-1..such an incredible feat .
This matters/ problem not new... It's been forever.. TTAM is cheap as hell... Better remove all the personal in TTAM board of directors
Totally agreed. Why has a Board of Director who does not know how to groom their players internationally. Need to put in a new team who really wants to bring the national team to the next level.
Yeah... None of them interested in development of our players.. they more interested in money and their own pockets
