So much precise and Beautiful ❤
This is the best video I found on the hidden tabs. I used 4x6" for 8 tabs and 5" strip for interfacing and the finished panels are 102" long. I love how they look very professional and custom.
This is a really good video on how to make these. The only thing is no measurements were given for the tabs but was easy to figure out. Love my drapes I made using this method.
I followed this video to the T, and let me tell you my drapes came out fabulous!!! Thank you!!!
Hi! Can you share if it's easy to slide them open? I fear this system works best for not-so-high curtains, so that your hand reaches close to the top?
This may be a silly question but, do you wash your drapery material before creating your drapes?
@@soniaseguz My curtains turned out great at 102" long. I was nervous at first but so glad I opted for the hidden tab.
The one I'm looking for. Thanks for this tutorial.
Fantastic tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing this. 💖🙌🙌🙌
❤ this video quick and to the point easy to follow

Amazing...
Thanks for sharing...
I have the hidden tab Curtains now sewing by my self
Hola gracias por este video tengo una pregunta, que separación dejastes entre cada presilla?? Gracias
What a beautiful way to sew the curtains like this. Do you have to take twice the width of the windows for the width of the curtain?
Thanks for sharing I wish I knew how to sew good.
Nice model
I sure wish you included just a few more details for your beautiful curtains
These are beautiful!!
Super 👌👌
Very nice but a little bit missing for us begginers :( how much space in between the tabs? How big are pie es for tabs? Lucky some info in the other comments, I will try, with me luck since I have to add two pieles of fabric to achieve with of my curtains :(
I wonder where they purchased the material?
Hola me gustaría saber de qué ancho son las presillas y cada cuántos centímetros las colocas
😍
You can buy regular curtains and just add the tabs. Save a lot of work.
How many tabs? And are the tabs the part of the 7"?
Literature says to install the rod much higher from the window frame (all the way to the ceiling if you can) so that the whole window appears much larger & wider (4-6" on both sides) so that when curtains are pulled open, they are completely out of the way of the window to let in all the light. Otherwise, GREAT LOOKING CURTAINS THERE!

How do you figure out the measurements for the tabs? Beginning sewer here.
Suppara madama I miss you
what are the measurements for tabs and interfacing?
If you slow down the video and pause around the 00:19-00:20 mark, based on the ruler she used, the width of the tabs look like they are 4-5 inches wide. That will give you a 2-2.5 inch tab. You would cut the fabric straight across to get a strip for your tabs and then another strip for your interfacing. They used 8 tabs per curtain but the number of tabs you use would be based on how wide your curtains will be. If you are making curtains wider than the fabric used in the video which looks to be about about 56-58" wide, you will need more tabs.
Hope that helps some😊
@@red_edj yes!!! Thankyou so much!!!
@@red_edj thank you for this information. It wasn't apparently clear in the video.

No music, Talk please
Wtheck! I can't speak for everyone, but I search these videos because I'm trying to learn how to sew. I'm, by no means, an advanced sewer but I'd still like my projects to look nice as I learn. Although your curtains are great, you gave no discernible instructions for me to follow. Idk, maybe I'm just too much of a beginner for this video. Also, what's up with this trend of not talking on instructional videos. Super annoying!! Good video, I suppose, but not for a beginner sewer.
To make matters worse, now I want to make curtains like this but I have no idea what this technique is called. I have no idea what to search for to find a video better suited for a beginner. Btw.. None of that is your problem. I just wish you would have gave out more info. Great curtains though. They really are beautiful!
