It feels like a dark sky pretty somber and suddenly many stars have twinkled .. the very flat and serious bhairav DHA and suddenly the ma re ga re are the stars and sa is the ever peaceful ... Wah this rag is very nice..And the singer has given full justice..My favourite going forward
Both the 'bandishes' very well rendered. Bravo. Vasant Rao Deshpande ji also used to sing these bandishes. A LP record was also released containing Raga Nat Bhairav and Raga Rajkalyan. Vijay ji you are a wonderful sangeet guru and serious music student at the same time. You reflect both. 👍
In fact, Sir, these two bandishes are composed by Pt. Vasantrao Deshpande himself. The interesting story behind this was narrated by his grandson Shri Rahul Deshpande in the Nat Bhairav episode on his channel.
Many thanks for the knowledge you have shared. I would appreciate if you can kindly tell us whether Nat Bhairav and Charukeshi are the same or different? Because the Aaroh and Avaroh notes are the same in these two Raagas.
Both are the different raag in nat bhairav shudhha nishad is applied and in charukeshi komal nishad is present but when we listen nat bhairav we can definitely see some shades of charukeshi
Thank you and I agree with the difference between Raag Nat Bhairav is different than Charukeshi. I noticed the different Nishad used in these two Raagas after i posted my comments. It was an oversight from my side and I am sorry for the same.
@@HindustaniClassical1 Both the raagas Charukeshi and Natbharav are almost the same except the nishad.Komal ni in Charukeshi and shudh ni in Nat bhairav
These are two different raag. In charokaishi, nidhad is komal. In nat bhairav, its rever (Shud). And the obvious chalan difference are there. Hope this is helpful. 🙏

Why is he so reluctant to use "Re".....how can we distinctly understand NaT ang without Re.
I was wondering the same. Nicely picked brother.
