Now I really need more pictures of those Nerfgun Marines ... they actually look really good like this.
Solid game as always, But i really do feel like when you guy's play heavy shooting armies you should pull out a bit more LOS blocking terrain. Would make for alot more tactical movement/placement on both side's rather than just getting gunned down from every angle unless you just hide in your deployment all game
I'm pretty sure they played with a tournament terrain set and did the player placed terrain. This is to emulate a tournament game, which as far as I know lines up with the nice boys' mean lists theme of competitive showcases.
As ethreain said at the beginning of the video they say they are using flg terrain and using player placed terrain
@@Kibbet21 True, ya I forgot about that. We'll Shayne need's to actually try placing terrain as too not set up straight shooting lane's from every direction haha.
Actually this is the meta now. Gunlines shooting you down for all angles, even with player placed. You have to hid all game and score passively until late game to get tabled.
@@tysonmcvicar3829 Sounds like a phenomenal gaming experience hahah.. If that's the case I'm glad I only play with friends and we load up the board with LOS blocking terrain rofl. I play Death Guard and World Eaters while my friends play Nids, Necron's and Tau, So I learned quickly that if we don't load up on LOS terrain, I don't get too play the game 🤣
They need to make the death guard plague companies give some benefit other than just access to one strat, relic and warlord trait
YES! Most things now get army wide buffs....Deathguard need some love.
This would have been wrapped even faster if Adrian wasn't splitting fire on eradicators. He was getting half their value because he never used total obliteration.
So GW should have 100% named them desolators and 100% had the launches as a backpack extension. So you get 200% for that sweet conversion.
Clicked for Desolator conversion. I've glued mine together except the missile racks. Bravo!
I wondered how easy it would be to magnetize the missiles on the backpacks like Terminator Cyclones.
awesome video. I am totally stealing the conversion idea when I get my missile boys.
Beautiful conversion of those Desolation Marines 🥰.
great "fix" on the new units! I would try to make their body a little bit chunkier too.
There you go make you feel better says twink boy lol im sorry they're too good together
Re: rules that let you automatically make a charge -
Yes. Back in earlier editions, you didn't have to roll dice for charge distances - you just had a fixed distance for how far you could move in the assault phase.
I’ve always conflicted about if this would be better or worse. It would allow for way more consistency, but it’d also make deep strike charges either impossible or too powerful
@@wrennthewizard144 Oh, that was easy. You couldn't charge out of deep strike at all as a blanket rule, regardless of your charge range.
@@Thoth_7 oh that’s quite interesting- how were Blood Angels and other such famous “drop assault” armies flavoured?
Let’s see that Brutalis run with Ravenguard successors: and shadow step it up the board next to a Chaplin on bike.
Good work on the desolators, look way better this way.
I might do the same trick, at least they don't look ridiculous.
I think you forgot Eradicators shoot twice if against a single target. That auspex stan should've been more shots
You can only use the Eradicators’ double shooting in your own shooting phase, so it won’t work with Auspex scan.
@@Strangten ah thanks that makes sense
Well.. Good thing DG is tough in the fluff at least.. Interesting game.. As a long time DG player I normally try to use the terrain to block LoS even for my PBC's.. As seen here they are far from indestructible and placing them straight infront of heavy hitters is never a optimal solution. But again.. always easy to sit at home and second guess ;)
Not the best deployment and T1 from Death Guard there..
isnt it strength 7 or up for legacy of dorn?
yall should post a tutorial on how you did the conversions
Have you tried with jigsaw carpet good way to attach 4 pieces together for about 15$
Comments are a bit too negative. Thanks for the batrep
Black templars six redemptors impulsor with desolation squad vs Ork Horde.
Part of me wants to buy Agastus and turn the Desolators into Gravis marines with the chonky armour and shoulder mounted missiles.
Great conversion! I think I'll do the same. Thanks
Those Desolators are looking crisp
The graphics used to describe the pre- game army/mission/terrain are great.
Where do you guys get your terrain from for these games?
Deathguard in Ark is a tough army to play man...solid job but this might have been over when you put them on the table honestly.
On this map with so little obscuring terrain, probably
I would buy a pack of those "do not corss" sticks
No Brutalis? That makes little sense with the redemptors in the list. Trying to show off the new Desolators.
That Imperial Fist in the thumbnail looks.....fuzzy, for lack of a better word. Primer probably messed up. I like the kitbashing though!
The death guard army looks insaneeeeee
How do we convince the Titans to have a game of Shayne, Brett, Nick, and a fourth visitor all play on stream?
I just want to say it's nice to see a proper tank on the table from marines. Lol at this rate we might even see land speeders come back before 10th
Raven wing can do some crazy stuff with speeders.
Repulsor version with 30 -2 ap shots are bonkers in the arks
.... Terrain is a little..... Well, not there.
40k terrain is always little.
Id like to see a hive city map
Planet bowling ball.
Had to go look at my book and I still dont believe flails are strength 5
Congrats Shayne!!
I don't like the Desolation Marines like that to be honest I thought I would but now that I'm looking at it I'm kind of like nah
Great stuff thanks! I would just not put the big missiles on at all. Look good!
Can you advance and do actions? On turn 1 did he advance the plague caster and psychic ritual?
You can advance and cast. Psychic actions are a cast. Typically you can't advance and do standard actions.
@@JinxedBoon ohhhh that’s where I was confused
How was your PM Flails S6? its +1 strength?
It was a mistake. They corrected it about 5-10 mins later
starts coughing bexause of nergals blight
plague marines have 1 less attack then blightlord terminators, so the plague marines had way to many attacks (so the flail on the plague marines is 4 attacks not 6, power fist is 3 attacks not 4 and so on), good game though.
DO NOT CORSS!
EVERRRRR! lol
who painted the Imp Fists :S
New to the channel? 😂
🎉
Give us GW Grey's knights they need a new line 😃😄😁😆😅 5 Smile's.
STOP SAYING "BOI"
The missile adhoc backpack looks... Crap. Unbalanced. Clunky. A duct tape job when you needed to follow the instructions. Watched the ads longer than the vid because the thumbnail was so ugly🤣
Have no one told Shane he looks like Zelenskyy? Like if Van Gogh and Zelenskyy had a sassy baby.
3 hours to watch someone play is not fun at all. reduce to 50% and cut some of the cute talk.
Bad terrain
Bad terrain placement. Shayne needs to practice player placed terrain more
You two are super, twink boy and daddy super, don't hate me😇
The imperial fists don’t look like they were painted very good for a video.
Yes yes I am not a pro painter and give me comments about it but they don’t look great.
I know I’m not the only one that thinks that either.
I think the IF player is using his own army instead of the studio painted ones
remember he commented on was painting the desolatiors that morning because he literally just got them. While they do some models with very basic schemes cause they have so much to paint on top of lots of work to do show wise, I suspect these were partially like that just cause he was trying to get them to a point he could put them on the table at all by show time.
Death guard are beautiful. A lot of those fists are terribly painted.
Here you dropped these 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
@@philipdangelo6602 I don’t get what blue hairs means in regards to these models??
Not the best deployment and T1 from Death Guard there..
