Sadly, this will be my last G&S upload for a while. Every single one has had a completely invalid copyright claim made about the music (_not_ the recording itself). I have had to appeal against one of these being rejected and, as CZcams treats you as guilty until to prove yourself innocent, I'm getting fed up with this greedy nonsense.

Outrageous! How on earth can the music still be in copyright? They remove educational content like this but allow pirate videos taken in auditoria. I hope you do persist somehow especially as I suspect you might have stuff that the BBC has mislaid/destroyed.

Do you happen to have the broadcasts of Mikado and Pinafore? I'd be forever in your doubt if you did! My email is stevenkragecomposer @ gmail.com (without the spaces) Thank you!

@@stevenkrage2412 Yes - I have the complete series of both 1966 and 1989. But not all the 1989 have been digitised so far.

“Frankly , I’m welling over with limpid joy” . The inhabitants of Ploverleigh are a composite of charming creatures. So nice to visit with again. Thanks for the upload from one G&S lover in the USA.

Wow, thank you so much for this! This recording I've been look for for a while.

This is the recording I grew up with. The advantage of the double cast is that you get to hear the cream of the BBC Drama Rep as well as the cream of British (and Australian) singers. Two for the price of one.

@@webrarian That's one way of looking at it. Good to focus on the positive! In the meantime thank you so much for posting these, my first chance at hearing these radio performances I've read so much about (been a rabid Savoyard for many years, since I was young and charming), and my sympathies for this nonsense you're going through with CZcams!
