Hey mate, in regards to the Weitering incident, I heard from Carlton officials that it was a shoulder to the throat, it was the last quarter and and he was exhausted so the stumbling was exhaustion and trying to catch his breath. So nothing worth concussion protocol. But they don't know that at the time so the docs on the ground apparently couldn't get to him coz the game was still in play in the Carlton backline and by the time they got to him he told them to go away coz he had recovered. That's just what I heard...

There was a moment in the Port v Giants game where the umpire had to jump over the ball. Was watching it live and thought of your videos straight away hoping I would see it
i think the criticism is more-so surrounding why he was attempting to play the ball instead of shepherding it through, the only reason that Kemps touched it was because gawn wasn't putting a body on him in the first place...
I dont think you can really be too hard on Gawn for touching that goal kick. It's very easy in hindsight. In the moment though the ball is clearly going to be at risk of being touched by a defender. I dont think the defenders did manage to touch it, but they were so close to doing so that Gawn's best option was to try and tap it into play. You play the percentages, and the percentages said that ball was going to be stoped by a carlton defender. Not Gawn's fualt the low percent outcome occured.

If the AFL actually cares about concussions they absolutely should care more about Weidering continuing play without a check. He got absolutely rocked and you could see him on wobbly legs following the hit for a solid few minutes of play
