  • In this episode, we discuss the team final results from men’s gymnastics at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Japan has become the new Olympic Champion, gaining their eighth Olympic team gold medal. People’s Republic of China has earned the silver medal. Rounding out the podium, the United States of America has earned the bronze, attaining their first Olympic podium finish since 2008.
    This episode features special guest hosts and former NCAA gymnasts, Christian Marsh and Gabe Sanchez, stepping in while our regular host, Kensley, is on assignment in Paris for NBC.

    Thinking about how much of the team competition isn’t what happens on the floor but the strategizing that decides whom to put up

    It's interesting that the program chose a risky team, yet the athletes then reduced the risk, basically nullifying what the selection was based on. It worked out this time, and I am happy for the team, but... that's a little whack.
