Ben Curtis Chooses Between Soccer and Theater

Back when I was in middle school, the class schedule only allowed for people to either be a part of band or choir. You couldn’t do both. So even though I was on my way to learning the trumpet, I had to give it up in order to continue singing with the school choir, which is really where my passion and interest were.
In this week’s bonus episode, Ben shares a similar experience back in Chattanooga, when he had to choose between playing on the school’s soccer team or doing theater. He couldn’t do both. Well, you can guess the choice he made but as often happens it didn’t turn out quite the way he had hoped.
