I had a friend's dad who introduced his wife as his first wife. They've been married for 60+ yrs and never have been married to anyone else. His wife still rolls her eyes. 😆😆👍💖

My wife of 42 years, we met in High School where the Gym classes decided to teach square dancing, this is where we met for the first time, although I had seen her a month or so before... that was in 1974, engaged, and I went into the Army, we married in 1976 when I got home from Germany.
That first scene just warmed my heart!!! Smiling from ear to ear. I’m a single mom of two kids and everyone says to “Start dating! Go online!” but I feel like when it’s meant to happen it will. This is so sweet!!! Hugs everyone💕✨
Did I expect your "how we met" story to be anything else other then just perfect and sweet and Bill? YOU remembered her DRESS? Dennis and I met in a college Sunday school class in early 1976 also! He was in the Air Force at the time. He also remembers exactly what I was wearing. I just asked him! We will be married 41 years on September 1. It is amazing how similar our stories are. I have had two strokes and now i have a pacemaker. Dennis is in the same fit condition you are Bill. I always thank God for bringing us both to the class that day. I’m sure you both feel the same way. Blessings always, Betsy

.......hi Elizabeth......from the first time i watched you and Bill's vids.......the personal integrity of your husband shone thru.......you have been treated kindly by our faithful God in your marriage......even on vids, as opposed to face-to-face meetings.......it's hard to hide what is genuine........interesting........the nite i met my husband, we went with a young church group to a pizza place.......he, also was very shy......that nite, as i marveled at the wonder of being privileged in spending time with this exceptional man........he reached across the table, placed his hand on mine, and quietly asked, "Will you be my angel?"

I love hearing how couples obviously in love met each other. It’s always interesting and sweet! Just celebrated my 42nd wedding anniversary yesterday - December 21st - and hope for 42 more (well, as long as the Lord will allow, anyway🤗)!

Thats a super sweet story. Thanks for sharing it. 50 years ago My mother (Air Force widow) met my step father (Air Force) at a Parents Without Partners group on base. I love the grouping and pairing up idea. Today's version would be like a online dating site. I'd prefer a in person match myself. Congrats on staying ❤ together.
I met my husband in 1975 on a psy unit!!
I was a student nurse assigned to the unit where he was a social worker.
I though he was interested in my friend.
The day after I finished my psy rotation, he came to where I was working and we went out.
When I got home, I woke up my sister and told her I just met the man I was going to be marry!
We will be married 43 years this year.
Listening to your story is an amazing blessing. If more people would just wait for the one God has chosen for them there would be less divorce. I thank God for my husband and how God brought us together. Elisabeth you are truly a Proverb's Woman. May God give you both many more years together. 😇

That was the first time I have seen you guys kiss. It was nice to hear your story of how you met. My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and our kids are 26 and 24. We kiss a lot, and always after Grace is said. I think it is important to show our kids our love for each other and different ways to express that. We are always holding hands and this is something I have tried to pass on to my Son, the importance of his role to take care of his girl friend. This is our job as parents to teach our kids how God Love us. Thanks

It brought back memories when you Bill said your ex girlfriend split up with you because in 3 months you never kissed her, I actually did that, split up with a boyfriend because he never kissed me. He tried to explain that he was showing me respect but I was only young and didnt listen tut.

My grandparents were married in 1914 - she was 15 . he was 19... She died in 1993, just short of their 80th wedding anniversary .. he followed her a few months later. ....From what I’ve researched, I believe, at that time, they were probably the longest married couple in the US. 9 kids... 1 died in infancy.

So nostalgic to me too. I talked on here with Bill once. We also went to Circle Drive Church that year. Now I see why we didn't know you all then. We got married in April of 76. We were in the young marrieds class. We loved that pizza place. It may still be there. That's why all this is nostalgic to me too. I love your videos and the things you do.
That’s amazing! I (Bill) started going there in July 76, and met Elizabeth in Sept 76 when she returned home from college. I continued to go there for several years - with Bev ( the friend Elizabeth introduced me to.). It was a big church, so no wonder we didn’t know you! Elizabeth and I were married by Jerry Nostrand in 1978.
