and that picture at 4:00... imagine a spaceship that has tiny turrets on top of its hull which have barrels the size of USS Nimitz... that's a killer concept... go big or go home... totally love it...

‘The Victus stretched out below Balthiel like an armoured continent. The Flesh Tearers flagship was a colossal vessel. Teeming with weaponry, it was possessed of a near-impenetrable hull, wrapped in kilometres-thick slabs of ceramite armour. By the Victus’s guns had the populace of a thousand worlds died, its lance batteries boiling away their atmospheres as its seismic torpedoes shattered their tectonic plates…’ - The Victus of the Flesh Tearer Chapter.
‘At the edge of the galaxy floated an iron cathedral, an edifice of great beauty raised not to peaceful gods but to war. For ten thousand years it had plied the stars, bringing destruction and salvation in equal measure. The enemies of mankind had long learnt to fear it, as had those it protected. War followed the ship as surely as night follows day. It was called the Eternal Crusader: a vast battle-barge, the mightiest of its type ever built, ten kilometres long, whose keel was laid in the inconceivable past. The sides and forward-thrusting spine of the Eternal Crusader were festooned with the tools of death; its hangars were the eyries of war-angels, ever poised to open and rain the champions of mankind upon benighted worlds. So long after others of its kind had ceased to be, or had turned away from the crusade of the Emperor to stage a faltering defence against the all-consuming dark, the Eternal Crusader fought on for a broken dream. Ancient, weakened by age, its corridors and chambers were empty compared to the days of its might, but its heart remained strong, its reactor pulsed hot. Still it sailed, bloody and furious, into reaches of space abandoned or forgotten, there to do battle with the alien, the heretic and the creatures of the warp, and to claim their domains as the Emperor’s own. The Black Templars, the Knights of Dorn, were the grim wardens of its precincts. Of all the sons of the primarchs, they reckoned themselves the true chosen of the Emperor. They and they alone saw through the myths and tales of their fellow Space Marines to recognise the divinity behind the man who made them. They held it an irony that the other Adeptus Astartes did not embrace the truth so easily seen by the inferior humans they were made to protect. The Black Templars had never abandoned their crusade, nor ever would, not until every last alien warlord and divergent human culture was cast down, or they died in the attempt. Steeped in blood, hardened by the failure of ancient dreams, the spirit of the Eternal Crusader was old and wicked in its bellicosity. Had it thoughts to form, it would not have cared for ideals of honour or of worship, only that there was a war to fight, and that it would be at the forefront of that war. How its masters would feel at this ambivalence, none would ever know. Ships have no voices, and if the Black Templars had an inkling of the nature of the ship’s spirit, they would not have told. The Adeptus Astartes are jealous of their secrets…’ - The Eternal Crusader of the Black Templars.
‘‘The Tempestus was laid down in the dockyards of Ryza… ‘Four thousand years ago. Only six such battle-barges were ever constructed, and only three still sail. The secrets of their construction have long been lost. But each of the Ryzan class were renowned for the steadfastness of their construction. They were built to run minefields and asteroid blockades. Impacts that would break another ship apart can be suffered by a Ryzan without destruction. That the Tempestus still takes to the void after the battles she has seen is testament to that.’ - Brother Captain Sheherz, Astral Knights Chapter, Master of the Fleet.
The Battle Barge Omnis Arcanum, the Chapter fortress of the Blood Ravens is also a unique warship among other Astartes Battle Barge's. She's probably matches The Eternal Crusader in tonnage, weaponry etc.
Some Battle-Barges were modified to be more deadly during the long range engagements. The Alcazar Remembered was a Battle Barge of the Fists Exemplar Chapter, Alcazar underwent a retrofit to mount a nova cannon

@@GrimDarkNarrator As a former Navy Man 10 years service and a fan of Science Fantasy and fiction I usually judge a Galactic Governments power by its space navy capabilities s. As a side note, you could say I served on a battle barge but our US Navy called them landing ship tanks our mission was to dispatch there landing crafts while under power by launching them from the aft launching area or into a DIW Dead in Water mode to launch them. Our most dangerous was to make landfall by beaching the bow onto a beach could be very dangerous if we would come under enemy fire then we would run out our landing ramp any armored vehicles wheeled not tracked on the deck would launch along with marines on foot after that any heavy armor from the forward launch bay would be sent out. I was a fire support trooper laid down covering fire my life expectancy after beaching if we took enemy fire about 10 seconds I sniped the snipers and
      mortarmen if any in
range of my slug thrower lol.
