Well spotted Tim, the only time Midori uses this guitar is in this song, in the music video too.
There's a story behind this guitar, it was crafted for her as a gift by students from ESP who make custom guitars. She was invited by ESP to "tour" their guitar schools around Japan, and each school built her a custom guitar for a total of 4 unique custom guitars. 🤘🔥

Above the Black Sea is so underrated. One of my faves.
The "Lovebites" version of the Winds of Transylvania music video was only made available to fans that bought the DVD, Blu-ray version of the compilation album "In The Beginning", there was an Ultimate edition which had the "Pain Killer" cover on CD.
Friend, perhaps of the live versions of the video clips, this is the best. It's absolutely fantastic and crazy, the synths support it in a great way and, above all, Asami's final scream, which does not appear in the studio version, is one of her greatest vocal displays. In short, a total song.
And of course, a round of applause for those in charge of the light and laser games, they create a wonderful atmosphere.

Great review Tim. Yes, so is Haruna my favorite drummer. Her precision, power and stamina, highly technical and sophisticated drumming.....she is my queen. Miho, I just love her old school authentic style of bass. Regretfully, I think that her love to old school metal made her leave the band, but I love both old school Lovebites with Miho and modern Lovebites with Fami equally.
I wish Midori would use that ‘V’ more! It sounds awesome 🤘🎸🐺

I still am holding out hope they add more U.S. cities so I can go everywhere now is a couple states over Dallas Los Angeles and San Francisco as far as I know haven't sold out yet But I live closer to Seattle and Portland Oregon
Absolutely amazing performance! An example of one of those rare times that even Midori, has to concentrate on her guitar work.
Haruna, is living proof that Japanese people are from a different world.

I will always miss Miho but I think that Fami is an excellent bass player and somehow she’s reinvigorated the band and she also had a blast in their recent European tour.
Controlled chaos, is pretty much the definition thrash metal, and this is a thrash as it gets. If they were from California in the 80s they'd be right there with the likes of Megadeth, Metallica, Testament ect.
Edit: lol right as I pressed send you said just that and even the same 3 bands.

By the way....the group should give Haruna, sometime, a small drum solo, even if it was 30 seconds, and prove once and for all that she is not a worse drummer, far from it, than Akane from Band Maid (wonderful drummer and wonderful band, of course). And I say the same about Fami.
