People, at least the majority, are not judging this girl's body. They're judging what she's doing with it at only 16 years of age. If you do adult things too fast, you can eventually make very irresponsible choices that ruin your happiness.
raw breena .. well fact is everybody judges. Even you. We all look at each other and make judgements. Ever hear of first impressions? That’s because we are inbuilt with the ability to assess. I’m tired of these days people saying we shouldn’t judge this and judge that. Because in reality we all do exactly that. It’s also a good way of keeping things in check too. If nobody judged anyone ever, can you imagine how people would be looking right now? Some mfs would be walking around halfway naked .. like this 16 year old.
I love how they made their points without mom-shaming Lisa Rinna. Both Jeannie and Tamera know her personally but respectfully disagreed with that dress. Keep it classy and real, ladies!
CZcamsName she should be mom shamed it’s disgusting to sexualize your daughter! Her mother allowed her to look like that if I wore that dress my mom would beat my ass.
Bao Thao I agree! Our youth need to slow down and not be so quick to put everything on display. Moms stop living your life through your daughters and love them by being there and by helping them build confidence and self-esteem. Make sure they have the tools needed to be productive in this new day in time!
She looks like a young woman and probably has a menstrual cycle. She could probably have a kid. But despite how she dresses and likes her body, has nothing to do with the fact that she knows safe relationships and safe sex.
I mean.....at 16? She looks great!!! But I know for a fact that I would’ve been straight up kicked out of the prom😂😂😂😂 I agree with Tamera here. Being young is precious man.....don’t do all of that at a prom, it’s not the right setting..
Runaway Somali well then again she's a celebrity we can't forget that it's always been different for them .. they're aloud to publicly date men older than them n cops don't get involved their grow up fast n cps doesn't get involved ... celebrities have always been living a different life .!
hebrew queen it’s only a different life bc ppl like you make it ok or give them a pass bc they’re rich. They ass not exempt. She’s too young to be having her boobs out for prom not if and or buts abt it
Runaway Somali that is not bad at all compared to what I have seen. All she is showing is her boobs and barely doing that majority of her body is covered up. I seen sheer see through dresses where the only thing thats covered was the nipples and butt for prom. This is a fine elegant dress.
Earthling108 it’s personally not my taste regardless of age but, yes. She would be 18 and can ultimately make that choice fully on her own. No way in hell if I had a 16 year old, I’d let her wear that but, like they said her mom let her.
@@sarasmith19 she is not a woman she is still a young teenager and is only in her 3rd year of high school that's time to look for scholarships and make sure you're in an ap calculus class for your senior year. These kids and their priorities man its stressful to watch and I just turned 21 lol
She's 16; under the age of consent, can't vote, can't drink......she's is technically still a kid, not an adult. I am not sure that THAT amount of cleavage is appropriate for a high school prom.
Athena griego well said. It’s outfits like that , that get you in trouble and lead people to think things they should not now I’m all for freedom of expression it you can run around flashing your body when your over eighteen and responsible enough to understand the consequences of your choices
Well me and my mom are friends and my mom and her mom are friends but yes at times my mom does have to be responsible like pick up your clothes and stuff like that and she is good at that it all matters how you are taking care of your child
Morgan Cottrill yea maybe not n the real world were we live n but ur not a celebrity n Hollywood living that life . It's different we all no it let's all remember that huge detail n this manner rn .
Really? I don’t think it matters, she is more covered up then what she would be like in a public swimming pool or even just normal clothing these days, so I think she can do what she wants, it’s not affecting me in anyway so I shouldn’t be imposing my thoughts 💁🏻😄
Nadia there’s a time and place for everything and prom isn’t the pool. If it’s hot enough to be at the beach then why would they make swimsuits be long and hot? I mean idc what this girl does but if it were my daughter or sister, it’s a hell no from me.
Lol they think that’s to grown up and there’s literally 6th graders at my school losing their virginity. I hate this generation because kids act wayyyy to old
Omg Loni's line of questions "she's 16?" Yea "and that's for prom?" Yea "do you think thats inappropriate?" It brought me back to high school during exam reviews lol
Tina T Exactly. These kids showing up in ambulances and caskets with backup dancers. It's too much. What happened to just enjoying prom for what it is?
Apparently there is no dress code like there was for my prom. Her mother know she wrong for letting her 16 year old out of the house like that. Mother want to be friends way too much nowadays.
I love this gen 💖 Kids are so educated and intelligent whereas people in the past are like waiting to learn half what kids learn in a day in a year. The way kids speak nowadays is so mature and hyper intelligent. I saw someone say they prefer otherwise of this generation. My first response is: I dunno why people still talk like this in 2021 as if they pretend not to know that kids today are really at a higher place of genuine class than previous decades. 🦋 They're simply free to express how they feel, so they dress in all sorts of ways. However their freedom proves their maturity. Just because they dressed and spoke classy doesn't mean it is authentic in the previous century. Yes, it may have been great but today is amazing. You should be happy with being alive in today's world. I guess your negative perspective is valid proof of this free and amazing world of information era though. Since it is yet another valid opinion to be considered seriously. At least you are free to express and therefore it is your authenticity and as much as I tried to prove you my point also, I know your point is yet another piece of puzzle to add intelligence and value to this collective consciousness.
Tamara: ik I'm old school" no you just was raised properly I agree that's to much. If I was a father I would not be okay with that. Plus she 16 she shouldn't be dressing like she's 29 out here. Enjoy being a kid and do that in your adult years.
I'm today's society being raised properly is old school. People are doing this new thing with raising their kids, too grown, too fast and too sexy. Whereas children who are being raised properly and with class, are being bullied, laughed at, and excluded. So yeah it's a big part of old school values.
Ronda Jin yes it’s so sad!!! I hate that old school raising is frowned upon now a days. I get that we’ve evolved and have fixed some bad/toxic parenting habits but feels like we’ve also lost morals along the way 😕
Alondra Cervantes the morals, values, and self respect has been thrown out the window. Core values which should've been taught in the home isn't anymore.
jami s Well then are you trying saying this is a more Mariah, Beyonce, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry or Christina Aguilera type of Diva dress??? The dress looks good on her tho
To me, the only thing that makes me give this dress a pass is that her daughter is a model. Truth be told, if she is modelling she is probably wearing revealing stuff on the runway all the time. Whether or not its appropriate for a school prom depends on the school's dress code.
School administratirs do not care anymore 🤷🏽♀️ I’ve gone to schools during school hours and attended school events (my hubby is a teacher) and I have seen that and worse smh
Loved the point Tamera made in general. Now, as I enter this new chapter of adulthood in my life, I reminisce on my childhood days. I’m so grateful for the memories I made with my siblings, friends and cousins while growing up. Adulthood is hard y’all. Haha. Blessed day x
It didn't ho over my head. Had no point. It was a dress that she liked and thought she would look good in. She's still a kid and wasn't trying to grow up too fast
@@r.b_7875 That's honestly what I'm saying. Why is a natural part of your body seen as sexual? It is NOT her fault if people disgustingly sexualize her.
I'm like Tamera, I was raised to be in a child's place. My mom wouldn't have let me buy a dress like that, even with my own money at that age. It's a nice dress for a woman, not a child. I know you think you grown at 16, but you're not!!!!
ChikaCherry / Artist of Trash I wonder why people say that. That was exactly my philosophy when I was a child and I was surprised to hear people think the exact thing now. Boobs were also made to be sexual by God that is why men "sexualize" it. Proverbs 5:19 says may her breasts satisfy you always, and may you always be ravished with her love (that's not talking about mother to child, but woman to man)
@@meemee8202 breasts are warmth, a safe haven, and nourishment for a baby. That scripture is speaking about how we should love a man in the same way by providing that spiritual milk to a man. By being their home, their safe haven, and a source of nurturing.
She looked amazing but for once it actually was a bit much unlike most times where it's like noooooo noooooo noooooo your collarbone is showing or something stupid like that, dem breasts were showing pretty clearly so I would understand if the school didn't allow it.
I totally agree with Tamera sometimes I found myself rushing to be an adult when I was a child and honestly I regret it. Cause being an adult is not fun at all. This generation has too much pressure. Enjoy being the age that you are.
Mmmm she looks beautiful but that dress could’ve waited until she was 18 for her senior prom. I know it’s only 2 years but 16 and 18 is a HUGEEEE difference especially for a girl and especially in high school but that’s just me
Not even at eighteen..it’s inappropriate period. Women don’t even respect they bodies nomore, then when unwanted men try to have sex with them they feel harassed 🙄🙄🙄🙄
First of all, a child shouldnt be an adult model And if a child has anorexia, they definitely shouldnt be a model. Hey if anyone has anorexia, they shouldnt be in an industry that encourages it
I agree with Tamera teens are so quick to grow up to the point they aren't even growing up if that makes sense. You're teen years are the most important in my opinion to discover who you are as person but don't rush the process of self-knowledge and self-worth. Like Tamera's mom said you have more years to be an adult and limited time to be a child, a pre-teen and a teen-ager so embrace it.
Saniah Prater.. Exactly! If I may speak in my truth for a moment. I became a mom at 17 and 19 years old and seems like the rest of my young years were over, I made my kids my priority in life. I missed out fun times with my friends and I had to become physically, emotionally and financially responsible for my kids and it was sooo hard, but that was my own fault for taking on adulthood before I was ready. So as my kids were getting older I tried to teach and be lenient on my kids so they wouldn't follow in my footsteps. They are 23 and 25 with no kids, jobs, and own apts. I say all that to say I really agree with what Tamara was saying cuz I regretted the decisions I made in life, so now I try to talk to young people about making decisions that could negatively affect them.
[]Xanalimarie[] I'm aware of that but I'm talking about young girls wanting to look grown and dress inappropriately. At 16 in my opinion that dress is to much... does she look good yeah but for a sixteen year old ehh. There's just certain looks for certain ages.
It's tacky and not appropriate for a school event. She's still a child for goodness sake. And the size of her chest makes no difference to me. I would never let my daughter wear something that revealing.
[]Xanalimarie[] I'm only 33. My daughter is only 5, I'm just saying when she is old enough to go to prom, I would never allow her to wear something that revealing. It's not age appropriate. And this isn't just a little cleavage, she's spilling out of this dress. It's too much.
This girl has come out publicly admitting to having an eating disorder and for some reason putting her on a national TV show to talk about her body seemed like a good idea ? whatever the dress is THIS topic is inappropriate
I felt the same way. The girl had eating disorder because she is insecure. Yes the dress is inappropriate but if it makes her feel better about herself and confident let her be. If her parents and school was ok than who are they to complain. I just hope that girl doesn't go back to her insecurity
Raine Riny 7 not that deep sis lmao just might not be the best thing to ridicule a girls body on tv who has dealt with an eating disorder in the past confidence is totally subjective and she might feel awesome in that dress (cause she looks awesome) and that’s her business not anyone else’s!!!!!!
what is false confidence lmaooooo so if i show up to something in a low cut top and feel great, I don't demand respect from other people because of this? Kate Middleton is still elegant and beautiful regardless of what she wears, she demands respect because she is PERSON not cause she is wearing a $2000 Smythe coat. SHOCKING enough but ~sometimes~ girls don't dress for other people to see them! BUT because they feel good in that particular outfit !!!!
I believe I had my absolute best body in high school. I wish I would have worn something like that. I have not had an opportunity in my adult life to wear a gown and 2 look flawless
Schools have dress codes. So does work and many other instititions. The dress is inappropriate for school but a 16, many wear way worse than that when they're out of school
Arch-Cheriea Strachan I think you might’ve missed the point. OP is in agreement that it’s inappropriate. They’re saying that if it’s very sexy for a 30 year old, then it’s definitely wayyyyyy too sexy for a 16 year old.
I’m a teen and I’m 15 years old, and my older brother and his girlfriend constantly wants me to rush to be an adult. I 100000 percent agree with you because I really don’t want to rush to be an adult. They always put that pressure on me and I hate it. Thank you for saying this 💯 god bless you and whomever you hold dear 🧡
We need more common sense Mother’s like Tamara. To many mothers now a days let their child leave out the house looking and dressing like their 23, and their still in high school. And when the female ends up pregnant, their quick to blame the guy 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Yes! And Tamera has common sense because she was raised by two amazing christian parents. You seem to have yourself the same kind of common sense...so just a question: why do you name yourself on CZcams with such a nickname? Having tea with the ennemy?!! Don't give him this pleasure!!!

"If that was a small chested girl".... I'll address that by saying that our body shapes & height can & sometimes do affect the appearance/decency/appropriateness of a particular clothing item. For instance, a short girl's knee length dress could end up looking like a shirt on a very tall girl. No is saying she shouldn't appreciate her body but I think part of appreciating your body is dressing it properly according to your body features to the right event.
Is that acceptable though? And your example is not the same. If a girl with a small chest were to wear that same dress, her chest would still be showing just as much as this girl's chest was. Girls who are tall and have more "enhanced" body parts are made out to be inappropriate for wearing the same things as other girls. It's not right.
Alieza Renee' You are right! But her point made sense. A small chested girl has nothing that could slip or fall out. But this 16 year old girl, has a full chest and especially at prom it could slip ect. But small chested or not, this dress is a nono to me for prom.
Alieza Renee' technically it isn't the same amount of chest showing. Like surface area wise someone with a DD cup has more breast to show than someone with a A cup, if a small breasted women wore that dress and you actually measured the surface area of among exposes it'd be much less than with her. And besides that doesn't really matter because even if a flat chested girl wore it it would still be too sexual for a young girl to be wearing purely because the amount of skin showing. To me it's not about it being breasts that makes it inappropriate, it's the amount of skin on show. If equally think it was bad if the dress covered her chest but had a crotch high split or something.
I liked this clip. The thing about some people is that they think the more they show, the more people will think their beautiful and that's not true. You don't have to flaunt your body around to be secure.
I couldn't agree more with you Tamera! even in my mid 20's my Mom/Sister are always reminding me to watch how I dress, speak, act because at the end of the day it does affect how people see you, and most importantly how do YOU want others to see you? I always have to second guess my life choices at each stage in life and I'm thankful for the discipline and how their old school teachings have led me to where I am today. Thank your parents folks!
I wore a romper to prom with a deep plunge like this one and no one said anything because I have small breast. If shes too young to wear this shes too young to be sexualized.
Carllee Marlie oh get outta her with that bullshit. “Too young to be sexualized”. She acting like a grown woman, she has a grown womans body and she knows it, and she’s showing it off cause she knows it.
Jasmine Taylor first of all she isn’t a toddler, second of all she’s grown enough to at least make her own fashion choices. Third of all, op is right, because if you think it’s too inappropriate just because she’s too “young” then it should be inappropriate for them to sexualise her because she’s too young for that.
R.b this argument makes no sense. She has a child mind and an adult looking body. That’s what 16 year olds tend to look like. It’s the same issue as if she had decided to dress as a stripper for Halloween or a teen boy decided to dress as a Magic Mike character. The dress is sexy, the dress is sexualized. She is a child, not to be sexualized. They are saying please don’t put a sexualized article of clothing onto a child and think it’s okay.
My mom gave me the same advice as Tamera’s, every stage in life has a its place and when you’re grown then you have plenty of time to do what you want. However with that being said if the mom let her dress like that then that’s non of our business, I feel like people are taking it out of hand for something that doesn’t personally affect us.
Jennifer Marquez I agree, I get that point that kids wanna skip right by the childhood phase and be an adult when you’re going to have more time being an adult than a child BUT it’s no ones place to comment on something like this if her parents are fine with it, you’re overstepping and would be pissed if someone else tried to tell you how to raise your child..
That's all well and good, and it SHOULDN'T affect us, but it does. People don't live in vacuums and they are ALWAYS affected by the media. Celebrities make up the media. Whether or not you agree or disagree with what her daughter did/what she allowed her daughter to do, it's going to influence other people, especially since she has a ton of influence and a lot of people watching her. And you can say that it's an individual responsiblity to do or not do particular things and they can't blame their actions on other people, and you'd be right, but that's not really how things tend to go. People influence people. Also, if someone believes that maybe something a parent is or isn't doing is to the detriment of the child, then they definitely should speak up. Constructive criticism is not a bad thing and no matter how great of a parent you are, you will always make mistakes. It should ideally be done in a respectful manner, but sadly that doesn't really go with the job of being a celebrity.
Rocknalldatime99 lmaoo there’s no such thing as constructive criticism when you’re talking about the way someone parents...no parent wants to hear any of that unless they asked for it and damn well not a stranger from the internet. Secondly I get there’s an influence but it’s 2018 if you think celebrities are ever going to start changing their way of life now because of their influence I got a bridge to sell you hon. If you liked the way you were living and got famous and people told you to stop would you? For this argument you’ll probably say yes but most people aren’t like that and wouldn’t..it is what it is
If you can't listen to criticism of any form then the problem is with you, parent or not. And you'll notice that I said that this should be the case if it's given RESPECTFULLY. Of course no one wants the opinion of a random stranger. And that's often the case with parenting. People ALWAYS have something to say and I get it, it's annoying. But plugging your ears and saying 'don't tell me how to raise my kids' regardless of where or how the advice comes? Good luck with that. And chances are if you have that attitude then you aren't going to go looking for much advice, so the 'I didn't ask for it' isn't gonna help much either. The fact of the matter is sometimes you are going to get advice that you don't want to hear and sometimes that advice is going to be useful, whether or not you asked for it. That's good, because sometimes we're too proud to ask for help or see more than one side of an issue and people who really love us will tell us anyway. And honestly, if we're going to play the 'it is what it is' game, the 'it's never going to change' game, then you don't have any right to say that people shouldn't tell her how to raise her kid. If celebs are 'allowed' to do what they want with no thought to how they are influencing people then people are 'allowed' to tear them down or criticize them for it. Because if you think people are going to stop doing that, then I have a bridge to sell you too.
Jennifer Marquez My mom gave me advice like Tameras mother too. Even tho I’d never wear her dress I honesty wouldn’t care about how revealing it is. And there’s plenty of teens that would agree with me. I’d be too focused on having fun with my friends, I wouldn’t even notice her dress. Hell, my prom was a year ago and I don’t even remember what dresses my friends wore now that I think about it.🤔
I'm seeing comments saying girls should be allowed to dress anyhow they like and shouldn't be blamed for sexual predation. I get that, girls should never be blamed as victims, however, no one should dress HOWEVER they liked in the name of embracing their sexuality. No woman who wants to be taken seriously dresses like that, let's be honest and it's not a sexist thing. No man who wants to be taken seriously wears pants showing off a dangling penis and vice versa. A judge/attorney in court will NEVER be taken seriously dressed with their private parts exposed, the same goes for a lecturer, a police, a business executive, etc. You want respect, you dress the part. Also, I'm sure no woman likes a case where her husband has to work with a colleague who always comes to work seductively. So why do it to/for other women's husbands? Tell me who goes on CNN or some other international event for an interview or a seminar and whatnot and wears a "cleavage-exposing" dress? No sane and self-respecting person, I tell you! It's not all about sex sex sex or sexual predation. It's also about respect. And reciprocity.
Well the dick ain't the same as a little bit of chest showin my prom suit had my chest line showing and I be damned if they didn't take me "seriously" because of it
I love Tamera! I wish I took my moms advice...sometimes when I can't be bothered dressing up to impress a guy! Theres always the statement of I wish I was a kid😂😂😂😂😂
Could it be that bc she is a model, she has worn these types of garments before...say in print ads or down the runway... So maybe her mom didn't think it was a big deal... 🤷🏾♀️
It's Just Shay It still should be common sense to dress for the event...and the even was a high school prom. Not only is it inappropriate for her to dress like that around her peers, but also the male teachers that were at that event. I'm surprised the even let her attend dressed like that.
Hlengiwe Zungu It's very revealing. This is a dress for a grown woman, not a child. At 16, she's a child. And this is a high school event. There has to be standards.
I agree😌, it's not about policing fashion choices but part of growing up is understanding that every event has a dress code for a reason and picking something according to the situation is how you show you care, and wearing something like this would be inapropiate for any event when you're 16, and if I were her mom I would be terrified someone woulnt think twice about slipping something in her drink to take advantage of her (after all if she "looks" older than she is...) Enjoy your teen years because it's the last bit of childhood you got left, and the rest of your life to act like an adult (and the whole world will force you to)
So true Tamera.. My mom was the same way when I was young. I love how carefully the ladies approached this subject without being too judgemental and critical. Excellent Ladies.. Great Advice!!!!!
It's not fair that girls with curves and boobs and hip wear something and it's deemed innapropriate but if it's a girl with a very slender physique wears the same thing it's not.
auntiesumsum what that got to do with her point? It’s only sexualised and causing outrage because they’re big, had they been small, nobody would be outraged
Who said curvy girls can't wear clothes that cover up. That dress is not about her being curvy but the design of the dress that has half of her boob's out. Get the facts right. Nobody is coming for her because she's curvy
Tamera, thank you so much for what you said. I am a 15 year old girl about to be 16 in June 2018 and I have an older brother who constantly wants me to be an adult so fast. He and his girlfriend constantly puts that weight on my shoulders about how I need to become an adult because I’ll always be a child if I don’t and I’ll always do childish things in life. Everything I do wrong on accident he ALWAYS brings up “you see, that’s why you need to start acting like an adult” or anything related to ADULTHOOD. So, thank you for saying that because it’s the truth, we don’t have a long time to be teens and once we become adults, there’s no going back because we’ll be adults for life. I will always remember what great words you spoke on this video, so that I may reference to it towards my older brother and his girlfriend. 🧡🧡🙌🏽 god bless you and everyone you hold dear. And I truly DONT want to rush into becoming an adult.
A child needs to stay in a child's place. Period. Dress age appropriate. It's not hard at all. In half of these prom pictures these girls look older than me and I'm 22. Face already full of make up - which is fine, but the dress gotta be appropriate too. Everybody wanna look and be an adult, until it's time to be an adult. 😂🤷🏾 Slow down.
Asia Norwood no obviously not but 16 is not a child eighter. At 16 I think you should explore things to find out who you are and not let everyone tell you what you should do with life and what is right and wrong.

Runaway Somali well then again she's a celebrity we can't forget that it's always been different for them .. they're aloud to publicly date men older than them n cops don't get involved their grow up fast n cps doesn't get involved ... celebrities have always been living a different life .!
Runaway Somali Me to
hebrew queen it’s only a different life bc ppl like you make it ok or give them a pass bc they’re rich.
This is a fine elegant dress.
hebrew queen you’ve got a point there! I guess the environment breeds what is acceptable and what’s not..🤔🤔🤔
She is 16... enough said, yes it’s very inappropriate.
So two more years and it’s no longer inappropriate?
Earthling108 it’s personally not my taste regardless of age but, yes. She would be 18 and can ultimately make that choice fully on her own. No way in hell if I had a 16 year old, I’d let her wear that but, like they said her mom let her.
why ??? age does not matter. If it is shown it is shown. There's no difference.
65rtyu YT age does matter 100%.

Loni : she sixteen... that's prom... y'all think that's appropriate

Tamera is spitting straight facts! you can't go back. I'm sitting here looking at these bills wishing I could go back lol

That's the worst- working all the time and not being able to enjoy the pay off

16? Nopee. As soon as I heard 16, my mind was made up. I would NEVER let my daughter wear that at 16
Morgan Cottrill Thank you....
Morgan Cottrill yea maybe not n the real world were we live n but ur not a celebrity n Hollywood living that life . It's different we all no it let's all remember that huge detail n this manner rn .
Morgan Cottrill i was thinking 18 and was like ehhhh. Then I heard 16 and was like helll no.
I hate this generation because kids act wayyyy to old
How do you define what's old and young it's all been created
This comment is so fucking stupid. You do realize it's not generational??
So what? 6th graders have hormones
There's always gonna be kids in a rush to grow up we're all like that. I know I was.
6th grade???
Omg Loni's line of questions "she's 16?" Yea "and that's for prom?" Yea "do you think thats inappropriate?" It brought me back to high school during exam reviews lol
Prom dresses in general are WAY too extra these days...Like, damn, it's not the Oscars or whatever 🙄
JKYB7088 I mean not everyone gets to go to the Oscars so prom is kinda a fun night to really dress up
JKYB7088 its not about having fun anymore its about a competition
Mya Christie exactly. it’s a once in a lifetime thing for many

Apparently there is no dress code like there was for my prom. Her mother know she wrong for letting her 16 year old out of the house like that. Mother want to be friends way too much nowadays.
Of course there's no dress code at a school for rich kids. They all have surgery and want to show it off
This wouldn’t be an issue if she was flat chested. Stop shaming girls for having large chests
My school would've sent her home. We had a dress code.
Khadiya S we don't even have a dress code and they'd probably send her home 😂 or tell her to cover up
Heck no, I admit she looks very good in the dress but a dress just for prom of that my school would have said no.
I mean she probably goes to private school
Tamera better preach hahaha
JG J Yes she always has intresting things to say!
No she wasn’t she is so annoying what does she want her to wear a poncho
JG J Excatly I agree with you on that 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I know right..she took it to church. Sounding like first lady at a Baptist church.
Karon G Right I agree with you on that but at the same time TRUE
There’s a time and a place and that was not the time or the place for that dress. Regardless of how stunning she looks
D-hallow MC she don’t look 16 she looks 25 wearing that
I'm today's society being raised properly is old school. People are doing this new thing with raising their kids, too grown, too fast and too sexy. Whereas children who are being raised properly and with class, are being bullied, laughed at, and excluded. So yeah it's a big part of old school values.
Lol I'm 21 and my dad probably won't let me wear that lol
Ronda Jin yes it’s so sad!!! I hate that old school raising is frowned upon now a days. I get that we’ve evolved and have fixed some bad/toxic parenting habits but feels like we’ve also lost morals along the way 😕
Alondra Cervantes the morals, values, and self respect has been thrown out the window. Core values which should've been taught in the home isn't anymore.
The way Loni asks, "y'all think that's appropriate?"
Omg an actual logical argument from this panel I'm kinda impressed
🙌🏼 Tamara girl..... I KNOW that’s right, “DON’T RUSH THE PROCESS”
Tamera spoke nothing but TRUTH!🙌🙌🙌
Preach Tam as Loni would say Tam lol
I swear she did. She couldn't say it any better. All these girls in a rush to grow up.
I think she looks amazing - i wish i could look half as good. But it's just not for prom.... Or until she's 18...
jami s yeah seriously. There’s no doubt she looks great. I just think of her age and I think back to when I was that age and it’s like um
jami s Nope nope it's too much out of the way
hebrew queen if she’s going to high school it’s not appropriate and the parent needs to be slapped
jami s Well then are you trying saying this is a more Mariah, Beyonce, Lady GaGa, Katy Perry or Christina Aguilera type of Diva dress??? The dress looks good on her tho
To me, the only thing that makes me give this dress a pass is that her daughter is a model. Truth be told, if she is modelling she is probably wearing revealing stuff on the runway all the time. Whether or not its appropriate for a school prom depends on the school's dress code.
That prom dress is 1000% more appropriate than any other dress I’ve seen in the past 4 years
Tamera “you do you boo”
I felt that 100 percent
Which school would let you wear that dress to a school event ?
Exactly.
School administratirs do not care anymore 🤷🏽♀️ I’ve gone to schools during school hours and attended school events (my hubby is a teacher) and I have seen that and worse smh
You would be surprised
The school can’t tell you what to wear to prom
A school in Beverly Hills I suppose.
Loved the point Tamera made in general. Now, as I enter this new chapter of adulthood in my life, I reminisce on my childhood days. I’m so grateful for the memories I made with my siblings, friends and cousins while growing up. Adulthood is hard y’all. Haha. Blessed day x

Tamera had no point. It's just a dress. Was she supposed to go to prom in a burka?
Matthew White Tamera had a point, it just went over your head..
It didn't ho over my head. Had no point. It was a dress that she liked and thought she would look good in. She's still a kid and wasn't trying to grow up too fast
Cover up and enjoy being 16. Not for a high school prom. Why do you have to grow up so fast.
What does showing your cleavage have to do with being grown ?
@@r.b_7875 there's a certain way to dress up

I know it’s only 2 years but 16 and 18 is a HUGEEEE difference especially for a girl and especially in high school but that’s just me
Sarah Robinson that's wuzup

And if a child has anorexia, they definitely shouldnt be a model. Hey if anyone has anorexia, they shouldnt be in an industry that encourages it

shane Echuveria that's highly inaccurate. the modeling agency still strives off of skinny woman. there is just more diversity now.
Chazzy Lindsay no one wants to be a model anyway.
Children are adult models all the time. Most models start modelling womens clothing at 14.
Saniah Prater prom dresses 20 years ago also showed cleavage
[]Xanalimarie[] I'm aware of that but I'm talking about young girls wanting to look grown and dress inappropriately. At 16 in my opinion that dress is to much... does she look good yeah but for a sixteen year old ehh. There's just certain looks for certain ages.
Loni's intro is popping. To the point. ☝
If her parents were ok with their daughter wearing this dress then what business is it of ours.
It's tacky and not appropriate for a school event. She's still a child for goodness sake. And the size of her chest makes no difference to me. I would never let my daughter wear something that revealing.
Jenny Eddins it's not tacky it's just inappropriate for her age and event. Shes dressed as a grown woman when shes only 16
Mae Runway I guess it's tacky for her age group
She dressed as a grown woman, but the genuine point is...shes NOT a grown woman.
Jenny Eddins prom dresses 20 years ago also showed cleavage
Raine Riny 7 if showing your tatas makes u feel awesome show them the freak off lmao
Raine Riny 7 not that deep sis lmao just might not be the best thing to ridicule a girls body on tv who has dealt with an eating disorder in the past
confidence is totally subjective and she might feel awesome in that dress (cause she looks awesome) and that’s her business not anyone else’s!!!!!!
Raine Riny 7 also not her fault if some dude looks at her cause she’s beautiful ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
what is false confidence lmaooooo so if i show up to something in a low cut top and feel great, I don't demand respect from other people because of this? Kate Middleton is still elegant and beautiful regardless of what she wears, she demands respect because she is PERSON not cause she is wearing a $2000 Smythe coat. SHOCKING enough but ~sometimes~ girls don't dress for other people to see them! BUT because they feel good in that particular outfit !!!!
Not appropriate for prom. I just hope if any other student was dressed like that, they were called out as well. Proms should have dress codes.
No❤️
I believe I had my absolute best body in high school. I wish I would have worn something like that. I have not had an opportunity in my adult life to wear a gown and 2 look flawless

anaaa - so true lol thats a good perspective
Jasmine Durr right lol
Hey you still do look flawless from what I can see you can still rock anything with that body and I mean that as respectfully as possible.
Schools have dress codes. So does work and many other instititions. The dress is inappropriate for school but a 16, many wear way worse than that when they're out of school
Depending on the event, that dress might be too risqué for a 30 year old woman to wear, much less a 16 year old kid going to prom.
Yeah i think the event is the issue
Arch-Cheriea Strachan I think you might’ve missed the point. OP is in agreement that it’s inappropriate.
They’re saying that if it’s very sexy for a 30 year old, then it’s definitely wayyyyyy too sexy for a 16 year old.
Arch-Cheriea Strachan it’s not just the event. She is a child trying to be grown and that shouldn’t be rushed. Enjoy being a child while you can be.
Too young. She’s beautiful, but this is a no. Kids are in such a rush to be adults. They don’t realize that that time is fleeting.

"If that was a small chested girl".... I'll address that by saying that our body shapes & height can & sometimes do affect the appearance/decency/appropriateness of a particular clothing item. For instance, a short girl's knee length dress could end up looking like a shirt on a very tall girl. No is saying she shouldn't appreciate her body but I think part of appreciating your body is dressing it properly according to your body features to the right event.
classy me even on a small chested girl it's still too much. At 16 I feel like you just don't need to be wearing a dress with your chest out.
If equally think it was bad if the dress covered her chest but had a crotch high split or something.
crazy afrobaby allow me to rephrase. The same areas of the chest would be showing.
“I know I’m old school 😌” Love me some Tam!! 😊😊
That’s why I love your show.👏👏👏👏
I liked this clip. The thing about some people is that they think the more they show, the more people will think their beautiful and that's not true. You don't have to flaunt your body around to be secure.
Ericka Jean 💯
I’m just wondering if another female wore this dress who had a smaller chest, if she would get the same reaction and response 🤔🤔
Britney Gomez Thank you!! If she had a smaller chest, no one would care.
I totally would care, to me it’s not the point.
No because it's about her boobs being out. If a person with a small chest wear this her boobs are not gonna be out...
Loved Tamara's comments
I love how they’re handling the situation
Jeannie & Tamera are so mature !
She acting like a grown woman, she has a grown womans body and she knows it, and she’s showing it off cause she knows it.
then that was inappropriate too
Carllee, I agree 💯
Any thoughts to compare this to other high school prom dresses. Gotta be far that some of this is an issue because they are famous.
Seun Ajayi, Nigerian yes!!! I love this comment. You said it perfectly !
Flutterby 84 Thank you ☺
Well the dick ain't the same as a little bit of chest showin my prom suit had my chest line showing and I be damned if they didn't take me "seriously" because of it
That’s why I love you guys👍🏼
I don't see a big deal
Hlengiwe Zungu How can you possibly think that dress is appropriate for a high school prom?
Jenny Eddins
How can u possibly think it's not?
Hlengiwe Zungu It's very revealing. This is a dress for a grown woman, not a child. At 16, she's a child. And this is a high school event. There has to be standards.
I love what Loni said your gonna dress grown your gonna act grown
She said, "and face grown consequences " I felt that.
I agree😌, it's not about policing fashion choices but part of growing up is understanding that every event has a dress code for a reason and picking something according to the situation is how you show you care, and wearing something like this would be inapropiate for any event when you're 16, and if I were her mom I would be terrified someone woulnt think twice about slipping something in her drink to take advantage of her (after all if she "looks" older than she is...)
Enjoy your teen years because it's the last bit of childhood you got left, and the rest of your life to act like an adult (and the whole world will force you to)
I love the "you are an adult longer than you are a child"
So true Tamera.. My mom was the same way when I was young. I love how carefully the ladies approached this subject without being too judgemental and critical. Excellent Ladies.. Great Advice!!!!!
It's not fair that girls with curves and boobs and hip wear something and it's deemed innapropriate but if it's a girl with a very slender physique wears the same thing it's not.
meg _nut true, but it's also not fair that we have these luscious adornments and others have her stings on their chests
auntiesumsum what that got to do with her point? It’s only sexualised and causing outrage because they’re big, had they been small, nobody would be outraged
Who said curvy girls can't wear clothes that cover up. That dress is not about her being curvy but the design of the dress that has half of her boob's out. Get the facts right. Nobody is coming for her because she's curvy
Life isn’t fair is it. But the question isn’t is it fair the question is is it appropriate bottom line.
Being naked at prom isn’t appropriate no matter the shape or size.
There’s NO WAY in hell my mother would’ve even allowed me to look in that direction at that dress while going prom shopping 😂😂😂😂
😂🤷🏾 Slow down.
shanece0813 Don't blame us blame the parents. It's YOUR (if youre a milennial or older) generation raising the kids.
shanece0813 but 16 is not a child
Ruth Hunsbedt Paulsen You think a 16 year old is an Adult or something? 🤣
Asia Norwood no obviously not but 16 is not a child eighter. At 16 I think you should explore things to find out who you are and not let everyone tell you what you should do with life and what is right and wrong.
@@lerani002 It is, as far as I'm concerned she's not 20 so she isn't an adult she's still a child and she lives with her momma.
Love Jeanie’s outfit !
Yes, ladies! Speak the truth! No need to rush, youth. Enjoy it, while it's lasts.
Yessss Tamera. You only pass childhood once. Enjoy every moment. I sure enjoyed mine. Yes please. Indeed.
Great for the red carpet, but not for a school function.
There is a time and place to wear things like that. Just not at school but she looks amazing
I love Adrienne's dress was poppin
