Say what you want about the end of Mass Effect.... vigil... man, it's nostalgic for me. The entire atmosphere they create in that first game is unreal.
I know how you feel man im playing through mass effect one again again just went into the config and tweaked some of the settings and the graphics are on par with mass effect 2 sooo happy when i first booted it up and heard Vigil playing i got lost in memories from all 3 games and it was awesome :)

Played the triology again like the 20th time or so, still get the: I wanna play it again one more time! feeling after the end. The whole Universe is so beautifuly done, that i feel like home on the citadel every time im there. These Games will always be my favourit, and im going to play them till i drop dead with 135! xD
Timothy Dexter 2's soundtrack is unbelievable though...
Ciowan and 3 has a way heavier atmosphere and is dark till the end (citadel dlc excluded)

At least... I am free in my own mind; to imagine such wonders our beautiful milky way may have for us insignificant and miniscule creatures.

The music in the Mass Effect series is as magically timeless as the storytelling. And this track is SO fitting to the part of this game. We're all getting old. Time stops for no one. It's so fleeting and our time is finite, so it can either push people to only care about chasing cheap thrills and instant gratification in the present, or it can teach us to appreciate life and try and make the most of it both present and future 😉
This would have been perfect as the final moment theme. And it would have to be Shepard actually sacrificing himself to destroy the reapers.
Show us how all the places are saved. Show us the crew's disheartened states. Show us Shepard's last thoughts about his crew mates and of course his love interest, before he is gone forever.
Show us a big funeral to honor the legend that is Commander Shepard, who saved the Galaxy.
Or just show us Tali's face reveal.

Maybe there is a more amazing world than Mass Effect's after our adventure on Earth. The music is a genuinely "spiritual" tribute, we feel it from within as if it corresponds to ancient memories. We only forget them, just as we forget who we are and what we belong to. This trilogy has a charm and energy of its own, perhaps even the creators don't know the level they achieved with something so "unpretentiously" valuable to us. Great job, DCookStaVideo.

Adam, late reply but no. To make this song 600% slower what you are really doing is slowing it down to 1/600th of the original speed. In other words the speed of the song becomes 0.167% of the original song.
