Want to know why Jiraya, Tsunade and Orochimaru are known as the legendary sanin. Because they survived a battle against Hanzo in is prime. He then saw potential in them and let them live and he gave them the moniker of the legendary sanin. Somthing simular happend with Mifune witch he mentions. Back in the day he was a beast. What convinced Jiraya that Pain was no joke was that he beat Hanzo. Granted by that time Hanzo was way past his prime but still someone as legendary as Jiraya saw Hanzo being beaten as an impossibility.
I like to think it's because they where young ninja, and Mifune was not.
Imagine you are the legendary lumberjack and you run into these 3 young wanabee lumberjacks, so you praise them and taunt them to grow up to be powerfull lumberjacks.
But then you are old and you run into a gardener that cuts a tree, sure he stil cuts a pretty neat tree, but he is no lumberjack...
And besides you are no longer that legendary lumberjack, looking towards the future, you are old and just see a gardener cutting a tree...
Fyi guy considers kakashi as his eternal rival and kakashi too consider guy as his rival…in this game story mode they dont really show that dynamic and guy is much more than just a comic relief character because guy always has a keen sense of the situation he’s in because of his instinct (that’s why kisame the shark dude calls him odd beast)
But we love Kakashi and Guy. We want them to be friends instead of rivals 🤗

To be eternal rivals is the equivalent of being good friends and more, I believe.
Because not only do they bring out the other person when they're in a bad place, they also push each other to be the best versions of themselves.
Rivals isn't always a bad thing.
From what I've gathered all those ninja holding up the water sphere are sensory ninja. Meaning they can sense Chakra signatures, like Karin. Inoichi amplifies their sensors to reach wide ranges. The water sphere is like a map that shows them the Chakra signatures. I'm guessing, I may be wrong as I haven't watched Shippuden, that sensory ninja can telepathically communicate with other ninjas on the battle field. You've actually seen Shikaku (Shikamaru's dad) and Inoichi (Ino's dad) before during the Nine Tails attack. If you thought Shikamaru was a genius, that's all thanks to his dad, since he's the strategist in this war. Inoichi is a powerful sensory ninja and can manipulate many people's mind to attack each other. As you sort of saw when the Nine Tails attacked, Inoichi connected everyone's mind together and made them all attack the Nine Tails at once. The game doesn't do justice but Ino has the capability to do what her father does.

Fun fact:Mangetsu Hozuki is actually Suigetsu's big brother and his known by being able to master all the swords held by the swordsmen
Samurai General Mifune is based on FAMOUS actor and rare japanese methodist Toshiro Mifune, and his sword Kurosawa is named after Famed Director Akira Kurosawa.
Hanzo is of course based on Hattori Hanzo aka Demon Hanzo, samurai spymaster born of Iga who is often characterized as a ninja because of his clan's homeland.
This version was implanted with a venomous gas organ of a deadly giant salamander at a young age, which forced him to wear that gas filter in order to talk and sleep without poison himself or others outside of combat with the toxic gas.
The blades of the 7 Swordsman of the Mist are based on tools or have abilities inspired by the Fish market.
Man, what a hyped up moment. We're finally at the war arc. So many months of waiting and it's finally here. Hopefully these parts can be an hour or I would even say an hour and a half. This is the reason why many and I mean many probably came for your reactions. I'm so ready. BTW Hanzo is voiced by Raiden from MK.

Gaara’s speech gives me chills every time I hear it‼️ I’m in the minority when I say this , but I favor the game’s version over the anime..
Don't underestimate some of those Reanimated ninja. They are more powerful than what is seen on first glance.
Also, yeah, this was a good moment for Gaara. From not only gaining the respect of his home village that once feared him, to now gaining the respect of all Ninja that strive for peace.
quick detail that won't show in the game, the seven swordsmen of the mist actually killed guy's dad, as his dad was a somewhat unskilled ninja (like guy as a kid) yet he went to fight them off to protect his son and died, that's why guy said that he wished to fight them in life, he was there, he saw it, really should have added it into the game
There's a lot of characters in naruto but haku will always be my favorite. He was was such a cool character that died too young

I always thought that it was kind of a disappointment that they didnt bring back Hidan among the members of the revived Akatsuki, but I guess its redundant to make a zombie out of a guy who was already effectively a zombie.
You also can't reanimate someone who is still alive. Hidan never died, he's just buried under rubble as a conscious decapitated head forever.
Kabuto really drafted the all star line up in history

Well, two of those "not as impressive ninja" were on the team that killed the Second Hokage, so...
Hm, overall, i think this Game adaptation of how the War went pretty well, but I would’ve liked them be at least a little more thorough with what happened actually happened within the War, would’ve been interesting to see especially with this Art-Style and Animation.
Although, at least in my opinion, i don’t think the Canon Variant was as thorough as I’ve liked either, at least in regards to the Reanimation aspect of the War, i still don’t think the Source Material utilize it to it’s Fullest Potential,
Especially with the Anime, whose Filler Content could’ve been utilized very effectively in that Regard, but instead, while we still did get encounters that I do appreciate happened filler or otherwise, we also got encounters with Characters that we had never met before which could been filled in with a more Familiar Character or two, don’t get me wrong though i didn’t really mind the Unfamiliar Encounters that much and it did make sense in away, the fact that Reanimation was being involved didn’t necessarily mean that we would only go against Characters that we recognized,
Still, I would’ve appreciated more Encounters/Reunions with Characters that we had either met or just heard about Previously in the Series rather than not, when there were a chance for it, i would’ve liked to see how they would’ve handled said Encounters/Reunions and how they would gone.
Well, that is only my opinion of course.

As good as these scenes are, they are still restricted by being a video game. The full impact, especially in these and upcoming fights, are completely wasted just by being video game scenes. I would recommend you actually watch these particular scenes, if you have the time. How personal they were, and how much danger they were actually in, really can't come through properly here.
