Most clips have steering wheel cams included which is awesome. Rest of the games are Forza Horizon 5, BeamNG, CarX Drift Racing Online, GTA and San Andreas modded drift lobbies. on that side note, my diy shifter is a 75% success with the "zero delay usb encoder"
I'm pretty sure I need to break out that arduino and program it so that when I push the button, it stays pushed until the next button is pushed. plus the buttons come with lights that are just on or off with the encoder and I want them to light up with the corresponding gear input
certain games just take the button input as a gear and lock it in place, but other games expect that button to be held in place by the shifting mechanism. emulating a keyboard in software is finicky at best.
the easy solution for now is having 2 of the buttons mapped as sequential shifters in games that don't let me use the full panel.
I fingered it out without having to break out my less than sufficient coding skills. "simhub" which doesn't work with carx as a telemetry app, but does have a very good keyboard emulator setup. i set the buttons to only register as press [vs press and release as separate button pushes]
simhub just sends 1-6 for all the buttons I want to use for gears and that latches on in the program. very pleasing.
