I migrated a few days ago from Ubuntu 22.04 to Arch Linux GUI XFCE; and I followed all the steps in your video to customize it. And I learned a lot in the process. There were some difficulties with some outdated packages, but I was able to work around successfully. I chose not to use Conky and Comice-Control-Center. I loved Pamac, which helped me in the end to eliminate all the orphaned packages. Thank you for your dedication in this video tutorial. It was very helpful for me.

    Hi,
There's a mistake in this video > at around 22:17 when you install & configure ULauncher. After you configure it, you go to System Settings>Session Startup>Autostart but instead of adding the ULauncher to the list, you replay the previous video section when you added PLANK and then opened various apps like Terminal, File Manager & Calculator & added them to the Plank dock. In other words, this video doesn't show you adding ULauncher or its execute command to the Autostart menu. You added Plank twice and ULauncher not at all.

I LOVE this!!!! I first started my Linux journey a year and a half ago by loading up Linux Mint Cinnamon desktop. After going through a bunch of different distro hops, I thought I was settled on Gnome. What I love most about your setup is those top menu items on the left side as well as the app menu icon in the plank bar that shows up something similar to Gnome's app menu. This is truly the best of both worlds and the answer to my prayers, and very importantly getting the right aesthetics without all the bloatware and inefficiencies of the gnome platform. Battery life is better on xfce ✅
***UPDATE: I have mint XFCE 21.3 and I am getting errors in the initial set of running the pacman command. I'm a linux pro in the making, please help. Thank you so much!!!***

A small update or correction - just before the `pamac build vala-panel-appmenu-common-git vala-panel-appmenu-registrar-git vala-panel-appmenu-xfce-git ` it seems you need to do `sudo pacman -S gobject-introspection` because it fails with the following msg - `ERROR: Dependency "budgie-1.0" not found, tried pkgconfig`

Rofi has updated to version 1.7.0, file rasi seems outdated so can you update it with the new version of rofi?

Aah...so this was the issue. I was wondering why rofi didn't work...kind of a compressed window opened with all icons squashed. None of the items are interactive... Please drop a word if you can get rofi to work...or any other way to see all installed apps in a window like how Gnome shows..Will use whisker menu till then.

I think we need to do something about windows 11. i.e., making xfce to look like windows 11. If any one interested, please make a video on it.

Read the neofetch... It says it there 1min in... If it wasn't for the ugly info panel on the right it could probably be a lot faster
