- After living on Koh Samui for 6 months, shooting, editing and uploading over 30 videos on YT we are FINALLY ready to produce our "BEST OF Koh Samui!"
Six months to shoot and two weeks to edit, we hope you find value in our thoughts and perspective. Others will have their own opinions, but we wanted to share with you ours.
Koh Samui is our home now and we hope you come for a visit soon!
In this video we cover Night Markets, Temples, Activities, Beaches, Restaurants & Cafes and two 1/2 or full-day itineraries.
In this video we cover: Bophut Night Market, Fisherman's Village, Golden Buddha, Wat Plai Laem, Khao Hua Jook, Overlap Stone, Tan Rua Waterfalls, Secret Buddha Garden, Silver Beach, Lipa Noi Beach, Phensiri Restaurant, and the town/village of Nathon.

Actually it’s Chaweng Beach.
No doubt it's a great beach, Ian. I just figured that most visitors will discover it w/o me having to point it out. And as someone who lives here I prefer the less crowded beaches w/o the hawkers. But, thanks for the comment!

What is the best area to live on KOH samui to meet other expats?
Well, I think there are other factors, Cyndie that are important to ask yourself. How much can you afford? Do you want to rent or own? What language(s) do you speak? What are your hobbies. What do you look for in a good “walking score?”
Quick general answer…
Chaweng- tourist center party town
Lamai - expat heavy popular with French
Chaweng Noi - pricey but lots of expats.

@@edandtomo walkable as I do not want a motorbike. Total cost of living less than equivalent of $2000 a month close to beach. 1 bedroom, English speaking, rent only. Hobbies include being a foodie, walking. Yoga, swimming pool important, reading, astrology, snorkeling and or scuba diving. I am single around 70. Not looking for romance
