- Peter Brooker visited a tailor in Hội An, Vietnam to have some James Bond-inspired clothes made. He got a green safari jacket and a black, white and red checked sports coat made, both inspired by Roger Moore's clothes from The Man with the Golden Gun. He also got some J.W. Pepper shirts made.

This guy is going crazy cuz the prices are "still" cheap. Vietnam also produce MTO dress shoes too (Fugashin) so get some crocodile boots while you are at it. I got a bunch of cotton and silk pajamas made in Hoi An. The experience reminded me of Hong Kong back in the late 1990s when everything was cheap.
The Timmy D pajamas from LTK will be next on the list. Thanks for the heads up.

Oh nice! I will miss Hoi An this year, it's easily one of my favourite places to visit. I recommend the tailor I went to see, ask hotel if they have any discount for specific tailors. They normally do.

Hi sorry this is a late reply. If you mean via a website then no. I once tried to set up an e-commerce site in Hoi-An, a topic for another Vlog, but all the tailors in Hoi An have poor correspondence via email.

It is ok for ask price even you want to bargain. And the price about 150 - 300 - 500 - 1000 dollars for a suits and of course it depends about material you choose and what store you choose. This price maybe cheaper if you can find a store or factor professional in HCM. And you know a tie about 1 dollars and shoes by skin crocodiles real about 50 😉 and you also can buy bag by skin real just is not famous brand. Vietnamese always well come you come here and explore many things interest.

How are the cloths holding up?
I still have most of the clothes. Jackets have held up well, the shirts I've upgraded since so have gifted them away. My girlfriend still has her shirts and loves them.

Incredible what you can get in 3 days and for a mire than readonable price. I just don't like the look of the buttons. They seem realy cheaply made and too thick.
ở Việt Nam chúng tôi thì những bộ vest đặt may riêng chỉ có giá khoảng 100 - 200 - 300 dollar cho từng phân khúc chất lượng. Riêng ở Hội An thì giá sẽ còn rẻ hơn rất nhiều nữa, vì Hội An là nơi nổi tiếng nhất Việt Nam trong khoản này nên giá vest ở Hội An thường chưa đến 200 dollar
