- Playing on the epic custom map Great Arena of Khaine, we enter a free for all on Total War Warhammer 2 with Alith Anar and the High Elves of Nagarythe, a Saurus Oldblood and the Lizardmen, Sigvald the Magnificent and the Forces of Chaos, and Gombrindal the White Dwarf. Everyone hates the Dwarfs in FFA, but can they be defeated?

On this day, the 22nd of October in the 20th Millenia, we record a grudge against the fey folk of Nagarythe. Thrown together with the proud dwarfs of Grombrindal the White Dwarf, the lethal lizardmen and the foul abominations of chaos, the elgi proved their duplicitous nature once more. With foul treachery they banded their banners together with Sigvald, thrice may his name be grudged, and launched their cowardly treachery on the honourable dawi, whom were busy fending off the feral attentions of the lizardmen.
Were is not for the brave actions of all dawi and the sacrifices of the slayer cadre, this day would have been marked as a day of a defeat. A grudge to be recorded against thrice cursed name of Alith Anar and his horde of so-called Shadow Warrior. A grudge to be rectified only by three thousand oathgold, the shadow crown and the head of Alith Anar himself.

The reason that Phoenix didn't reincarnate ?! Well Grombadil hit that fucker so hard with his axe that the Phoenix flew straight into the mortal realms , saw the horror of modern warhammer fantasy and just decided to stay dead forever .

The fireborn were a hardcounter against chaos's knights, extremely high fire resist nullified most of their damage.

I know its thematic, but the fire damage on the swords of chaos really hurts them in the HE match up, makes them almost worthless vs dragon princes and phoenixes unfortunately

yeah they have flaming damage and were fighting 70% flame resist elite Dragon Princes. generally not ideal

Hey Indy, have you ever tried to overcast hand of glory on alith anar? watch as the arrows start flying before the previous one even hits? It's... well, glorious.... (PS: stacking reload speed on queen bess in a 2v2 with hand of glory is also ridiculously fun).

dont know if they patched it yet but with the phoenix if another big monster is too close when it fails its fiery rebirth it'll one shot the enemy unit, saw it on heir of carthage's channel

The RNG of the Pheonixes and other similar creatures is a bit stinky. It'd be nice if it was just guaranteed and balanced around that so you're not just crossing your fingers.

Absolutely not. Dragons and Monsters dont belong anywhere near the Dawi roster. They have an entire Cult dedicated to fighting and killing them lol. Technology like Thunderbarges/Airships is the way to go for Dwarf units in the future, IMO

Rune Golems. They aren't my favorite, but they're a lot better than Shard Dragons ;P

@@milkandcookiesTW I mean the Rune golems and guardians are lore friendly, and it’d be nice for the Dawi to have an anti-large option that doesn’t get punted around the map like slayers do. But I would also love to see the thunderbarge.

- Frustrating to fight against in campaign
- Frustrating to fight against in multi
- Way too OP in FFA
- Looks dumb (my opinion, for this one)
- Hey ! Let's give infinite leadership, armor and resistances to all of them !
Conclusion : I hate Dwarves and I am right about it.
I think this FFA shows why dwarf gameplay needs a rework. It’s just demoralizing to fight a box and boring. You get blown to smithereens in most situations and instead of just feels like crap. It’s boring, and a bit of poor design from a multiplayer perspective. No one who isn’t a complete A-hole tends to find purely ranged wins satisfying. It just ruins replays and games
I would love to see a dwarf style where they were more like a slow moving force of nature that is an unstoppable and keeps going forward.
Dwarves' are the most hated race in Warhammer
