Dear Jane, @janeh5949 , yes, the Lord certainly knew what He was doing when He chose D.P. Earlier this year my mum died suddenly and I saturated myself with his sermons and teachings. They not only comforted me but provided 'fellowship' as well through that intense shaking which is still being resolved. (I was her full-time carer for the last 9 years). Are you knowingly functioning in any particular gifts of the Holy Spirit? -Russell.
Let me see if I get this straight…. 🤔 Some random anonymous internet guy says that Lewis is mediocre and unreadable, so it must be so… Even though MILLIONS, even true believers think otherwise and even an amazing writer like Tolkien thought otherwise… But one Internet guy “knows” better than millions of others, so it must be so… Internet guy is not giving an opinion, he is giving everyone the facts concerning Lewis… Did I get it about right, Internet guy???
@@TerrenceLopez-gn1tj Of course you too are random anonymous internet guy. Jesus could take others sickness upon himself because he was sinless not born of transgression. People got sick because of sinful flesh. ALL believers in Jesus blood 2000 years ago were filled with the Holy Ghost , were born again and became part of Gods holy temple on earth. While their faith subsisted they too became sinless and could raise the dead heal the sick and do greater miracles. This very real power was what identified them as christian and marked them for persecution and death. No one since 70AD has had this power. What followed 70Ad were man made religious constructs which i can only suppose you belong to. Lewis was a church of England member as was i for most of my 67 years as a professing christian, something i no longer am. I go to oxford often where lewis taught and every one of the colleges that make up oxford university were founded as christian institutions the tradition runs deep there. That however does not make it the truth.

lewis's religious books were unreadable they were so far up their own back side . his sci fi books were ok but he was only a mediocre sci fi author.
