I sang this song for a graded competition when I was in the 7th grade. This takes me back. A lovely melody.
How lovely was that .
Maurice, my cat (named after Maurice Andre) liked this almost as much as I did.
Nice! Might be my favorite trumpet tone, especially on piccolo. Glad you enjoyed the piece friend!
Thanks, Sir Cal. My cats do not like my playing. No taste whatsoever.
Good playing Mr. Drew. You and brother AL are becoming musical twins in your professional approach to playing and your arrangements are killing it. Keep it up my fellow brass brothers. God Bless
Thank you, Roy. I appreciate it.
Gorgeous! Beautiful playing with classy trills! Well Done!
Thanks. I take pride in my ornamentation. I don't do a lot of crazy stuff, but what I do, I like to do as perfectly as possible.
@@TheMusicofDrewFennell its all perfect! Thank you!
Such a nice song with a great player to play it
Thank you very much Jitsu!

Love this drew
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the comment as usual!
Thanks. It's easy, certainly, but there's a certain beauty to just seeking absolute perfection with something simple.
Very pretty! I love you tone. Well done :)
Thank you very much Dominic! First one as usual!
Thanks. I like my tone sometimes. Sometimes I want to throw the horn in the river. Most of the time that is.
@@TheMusicofDrewFennell That's just how it goes! I always hate recording myself😂
I always say there are certain things we avoid because they make us feel bad about ourselves...bathroom scales reveal that we overeat or don't get enough exercise, metronomes reveal that our rhythm sucks, and definitely recording is among those also. You come away from listening to yourself on a recording just...knowing too much.
I'm just so sad that I have to go and get in the car to practice my Flugelhorn. Don't want to disturb the neighbors.
I've still come a long way Arban's. Can double and triple tongue. Getting closer to the Carnival in Venice (But my absolute favorite is Purcell)...
Keep working hard friend!
Maestro, how to perform the low C is simple for me, but the C an octave above me is difficult without changing the posture and pursing the lips, it shouldn't be done, with the Fulgelhorn and Bach 342 3C mouthpiece thanks.
What exercises to do?
