hands down among the top 5 coolest cars in the past decade. if you are a motor head who's into track performance, got yourself a collection of exotics and the BAC mono is not in your lineup, somethings wrong with you. This would be the first purchase in my collection, because it is the best rendition of an f1 car for the road. its timesless and hot as heck!. If there is anything worth possibly waiting for, is an electric version of the bac mono. aside from a lack of exhaust sound, thats a mindbusting idea. (and its been done before via the experimental Ariel Atom x1, which was a killer in its day

This was at the factory a few weekends ago when I went for a tour, such a cool car and great to check out how their built
Love this type of cars, it brings you back to the basics. Try to get some time in a Noble (I do own the similar Rossion here in the US and it is amazing how organic the feeling is without any electronic nannies and a 6-speed Getrag) or a Radical. Although the BAC might be more formula oriented, I think the above mentioned "cousins" of it can offer more diverse and rewarding experience not to mention that you can enjoy it even more on a daily basis regardless of weather. Great video!

I love this car I played drive club for ps4 and I know it's a video game but I still fell in love with it
order one right now. That is a connoisseur's car, not one for the average youtuber' and certainly would make for some great road trip videos

Version 3, should have a carbon tub
Version 4, should have a carbon fiber control arms
Version 5, carbon fiber control arms shaped like F1 cars.
Version 6, full carbon rims
Dout i be seeing any up this way, but acquired the gen 1 in 1:18 scale model and the detailes so wow its like a formula ford draped with areo ferrings, hears the question is this is this enuff tempt you to get one as a track toy?

The carbon wheels and disc combo is crucially all unsprung weight so typically that’s worth conservatively 4x sprung weight. That will transform the already amazing performance.
These would definitely be on my option list...
Exactly what I was thinking. The absolute weight-saving is not even the talking point, it’s that it’s all in the unsprung weight. 30 kilo’s less unsprung is amazing!
Yeah, most people underestimate unsprung weight. When i upgraded the wheels on my 350z, i lost about 5kg per wheel and saved half a second on average in a 90 second lap. That's half a second for 20kg in a 1450kg car.
I am no pro driver though so my results may be inconsistent.
I’ve had mine for three years and done 11,000 miles in it (a lot of those at Silverstone.)
How good is it?

Its odd the US generally is ok with them (bar the bit closest to Canada where the fun police are pretty strong) the UK has always allowed them. Australia/NZ both are pretty daft although I think Aus has just lightened up a fair bit.

As a mere mortal i only race this car in Assetto Corsa, but even then it is a pure joy to drive.
I will have to get one for local highway patrol so we can race around in the mountains late at night during his or her shift..

It's cool, but if you want a street legal formula car (and at a fraction of the price @ ~38k euro/~51k USD) why not go for comparable performance with increased reliability in a Formula Ford Ecoboost?

Liverpool, or if you like they will send a ‘flying doctor’ to do it at your home.
If you’re mechanically minded you can do minor stuff like oil changes yourself pretty easily too, once you take the top off it’s all on show.
