    This video is very impactful for me. Another CZcamsr suggested speed cutting every time and I feel like I became a worse route runner by only dealing in absolutes. I ran vanilla routes with no stems, always taking the same amount of steps each time I ran specific routes. I was lost.

      thats awesome to hear! definitely different nuances for each situation. Never deal in absolutes at the WR position

    Great stuff!!! Towards the end the disclaimer about not getting too focused on the steps, without first making sure about the stuff that preceeds it (i.e. pad level, violent foot/hip action) is SPOT ON. In other words, you have to handle the physics part of it (i.e. weight distribution and stopping/redirecting inertia) before the footwork and number of steps part of it can come into play

      Absolutely! Steps are the framework to build around. Master the physics within those steps.
