  • petrol is also known as gasoline made from crude oil, which is used primarily as a fuel in most spark-ignited internal combustion engines. It consists mostly of organic compounds obtained by the fractional distillation of petroleum( crude oil ), enhanced with a variety of additives.
Petroleum, a fossil fuel, supplies more energy to the world today than any other source.
Welcome to Karthi Explains in this video, let's see the Manufacturing
    Process of Petrol / Gasoline
    Where To Learn More: www.madehow.com...
Because gasoline is produced from a limited supply of petroleum, scientists are looking for clean, renewable sources of energy to power machines of the future. Steam power, used in the steamboats of the past, is an energy source that is receiving renewed attention. Electric vehicles have been developed, and solar and wind energies are also powering cars and homes.

A few comments on the descriptions. 1. Cat cracking and 'polymerization' are not just purification methods, nor are they separation methods. They actually DO produce materials not present in the crude oil; they can make petrol. 2. Isooctane does not just vaporize slower than heptane, it actually burns slower; leading to its higher octane rating.

How come they don't take a lighter oil like vegetable oil and then add the chemicals to make it function as petrol? They can probably clone the organism in crude like yeast culture than add refinement chemicals, and anti oxidants.

Digging and Drilling of Earth should be avoided to be safe from Earth Quakes. The quality of kerosene has impacts on Engines of Automobiles. The Automobiles not in Good condition will emit Carbon Monoxide which is dangerous to breathe. The Trees are intaking. The Petroleum Refineries are also polluting the Air.So we have to stop the Drilling Projects and better to move away to Rechargeable Solar Electrical Automobiles.Instead of constructing Car Sheds its better to park them with Sunlight Exposure. While Raining its better to avoid parking the cars near Trees. due to Thunders and Lightening. In cool climate we can open the windows of cars a little, while travelling instead of using AC.The kids should be advised to not to show their heads outside of the windows. They have to wear Seatbelts to avoid Risks. These are some small things we can follow to save our Planet in which we are living.Earth is the home for all.The houses can be built with Cement and Bricks. The Home can be protected only with care.Increase the Parks.Building the Towers, Basement,UnderGround Parkings should be avoided. The Cars can make use of Rechargable Battery with the use of Solar Energy.
