In this video, I compared details and graphics between Modern warfare 2019 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2022. I am a huge fan of both of these games. These details do not make one game better than the other. I made this video to show the graphical difference between both games.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled for release on October 28. During NEXT event Activision announced Warzone 2.0 and Warzone Mobile as well.

Guess they removed some effects and details so that the game size is not over 190 gbs.

Mwii seems to use more real time global illumination for lighting whereas a lot MW2019 lighting is more baked in which is why it looks consistently good. I guess MWII is doing this because of Warzone and DMZ. Supposedly having day night cycle.
Bruh that’s not how it works. Campaign doesn’t need to alter lighting for day n night bc the missions only take place in either day OR night. Therefore they don’t have to find balance, they can focus on the time of day and appropriate lightening for that time.
@@KM-qk1oz I'm talking solely multiplayer. Campaign can use whatever scripted post process effects to make it look as realistic as it wants.
To me what’s sucks is it seems the only structuring these games all off Warzone .
2019 had ray tracing... at least on PC. I just got off MW2 and I really think MW looks so much better.
@@trunksbriefs4132 MW lighting technically looks better even without ray tracing. It's just carefully positioned light sources and complex textures that give a more detailed aesthetic. MWII still looks fine, but the shadows aren't as strong because most of the maps are lit during cloudy or sunset weather so the shadows aren't as dark. The ground war maps look more akin to what MW19 looked like with the blooming sun and high contrast between light and shadows.
I’ve been playing both, but I definitely keep returning to MW the most. It just feels better and looks more real world to me

idk about that. At ultra settings the new ones textures are by far better. 2019 had better lighting, but thats because it was baked in as opposed to global illumination

The overall presentation in MWII feels a bit more flat compared to MW2019. Can't say MWII looks better presentation wise except for having a bit more color.
I noticed when you do a weapon inspection on weapons that I have selective fire the selective fire switch actually changes depending on what fire mode it’s in. I thought that was pretty cool

- MW1 had some really good sight system.
- The new Perk/weapon progression system oh my god. That gives me a headache.
- Some guns feel super low range (M4), some feel too long range (SMGs).
What about new hilarious spinlock aimassist and not being able to turn off crossplay on pc lol. A true torture

My biggest complaint with the MW reboots is their over reliance on aggressive visual recoil especially when using optics. The whole point of using an eotech or a red dot is to mitigate sight wobble and keep a clear aperture. BF4 and older CODs depicted this pretty well.
It's like every gun in COD nowadays is being wielded one handed or stockless by the operator.

@@xoaquimyeraysanchezguillan5914 I've gone shooting with an AR-15, AR-10, Glock 19 and a Remington 870. Unless youve got noodle hands that gun is going to be a lot more stable than how it looks in game. Otherwise you just shooting without any regard to your own safety or comfort.

Using a Thermal scope in MW 2019 would show the fresh warm blood spatter on the wall as a white stain, unsure if MW2 has this feature.

Mw2 has a lot of the features I don’t know what you were using but I went in and tested it my watch shows the time on my console/pc and my magazines are visible when reloading, so I don’t know if that is a graphics thing or not but just wanted to get that out there

In some areas it’s an upgrade in some areas it’s a downgrade. I think lighting is better in mw2 same with how clean and sharp it is, audio is clearer as well, same with animation improvements.

POV: me trying to not laugh at how you can see your characters legs fully rendered in the multiplayer beta and in the retail multiplayer but not campaign which I knew was going to happen despite I played the beta all the way through on Xbox as well as the campaign on the 20th all the way through.
The campaign is unplayable without the legs bruh 0/10
It’s quite disappointing seeing all these bugs and glitches, MW2 has had 2-3 years to develop.

This is some Halo infinite type lack of detail. (Infinite much worse though tbh, we didn't even have fire effects or explosions on launch and no they were added as 2d gifs, also the water in infinite is laughable)
They removed alot of particles and effects for overall file size and performance.
